Countering the Biden DoJ's Unjust War on The American People

We previously reported on the troubling expansion of satellite offices of the Capitol Police being planned across the country.

Unlike other federal government-related police which are subject to FOIA and part of the executive branch, the Capitol Police are under the control of Congress and not subject to FOIA. So, basically you have a police force controlled by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spreading out across the country.

I’m not a conspiracy fan, but you don’t have to be to find that problematic.

Now, there’s more that is setting off the alarm bells in my head.

Not only will they be setting up across the country, starting first with offices in California and Florida, but they will have military surveillance equipment as they become “an intelligence based protective agency,” according to the Washington Times.

Defense Secretary Loyd (sic) Austin recently approved the Capitol Police’s request for eight Persistent Surveillance Systems Ground – Medium (PSSG-M) units. The system provides high-definition surveillance video and is enabled with night vision. The system does not include facial recognition capabilities, according to the Pentagon.

“This technology will be integrated with existing USCP camera infrastructure, providing greater high definition surveillance capacity to meet steady-state mission requirements and help identify emerging threats,” the Pentagon said.

The technology, originally used by the U.S. troops during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, allows the user to monitor large areas 24/7 through extremely high-resolution cameras.

Oh, no problem there either.

More?

In a wartime application, the persistent surveillance units were mounted on tethered blimps. The data could be stored, combined with sensor data from other platforms, and later referenced or rewound to track individuals or groups.

It could be used by the military to develop a “pattern of life” analysis on suspected enemy combatants or intelligence targets in war zones.

The Army is going to teach the Capitol Police how to use the technology.

It just looks tailor-made to spy on large groups of people, particularly events like protests. I’m betting they wouldn’t be aiming for leftist protests either. But, really, it can involve spying over a large area. What’s the justification for that, all of the sudden? All of this because of a three-hour riot? Why does this not sound like it’s just to deal with present threats against members of Congress? And can we talk about the problems of using such things to spy on Americans — and all the constitutional questions that might raise?

The Washington Times notes that a federal appeals court ruled against the use of persistent surveillance technology similar to “Gorgon Stare technology,” which they found to be unconstitutional because of the wide area of coverage allowing the tracking of hundreds at a time.

So, what’s going on here? And why is there so little coverage of this? Because whether you’re on the right or the left, this should concern both sides of the aisle.

A most troubling report by Redstate as regards expansion of the wholly unaccountable Capitol Police into the States has solidified my concern that the law enforcement and intelligence agencies of the US Government are now being weaponized against ordinary American citizens for purely political purposes.

I come here you today not just as a thoroughly angered and disgusted American citizen and Navy veteran (which I am and fully within my right to be within legal bounds), but someone very knowledgeable of federal LEO and intelligence operations who is very concerned with how those same agencies and techniques may now be weaponized against the very people they are sworn to defend under the law. I never thought I would live to see the day I would ever have to write such a communication, but here we are.

Some background. I am a six-year US Navy veteran trained on and experienced with sophisticated communications systems. I have held Secret and provisional Top Secret clearances. As an enlisted I was authorized to take the officer-level Fundamentals of Naval Intelligence course and passed with a 3.8 GPA. I have been reading books on law enforcement and intelligence operations since I was eleven years old (I am now 61). I can tell you without effort that the FBI nailed John Gotti on RICO charges with an audio bug placed in a VCR in an apartment above his Bergen Hunt and Fish Club in Little Italy. The audio was run down the VCR's power line and tapped outside the building.

The FBI also nailed Boston Mafia underboss Gennaro Anguilo on RICO charges with a bug in his ceiling at 98 Prince Street. Both bugs were planted on a Christmas Eve. And the FBI suckered the BTK Killer, Dennis Rader, into sending them a floppy disk with the metadata of his Kansas church on it. Those successes all happened in the days that the FBI and DoJ worked to protect the American people and not to politically persecute them. Fun times.

Personally I have seven years recent experience building, testing, servicing and providing customer support to FBI, DEA, ATF, US Secret Service and state/local LEO agencies as regards tactical communications and surveillance systems, from bodyworn concealments to IP-based neighborhood watch systems with gunshot detectors. I know what I'm talking about. I just never thought I'd have to talk about it in this dark of a context in America.

The news that the Department of Justice is investing $6.1M into a new Capitol Riot database has implications that go far beyond just collecting data on anyone in the Capitol on January 6th. I think the American people have to assume at this point that this massive database is not the end of the Capitol Reichstag Fire saga, but the beginning as it was in Hitler's Germany. Think more on the perspective of the Islamist terrorist databases and fusion centers created to net Islamist jihadis after 9/11. I believe we have to assume that this DoJ intel operation has been or will be expanding far and wide into the American population through use of communications monitoring, data collection, geotracking and agents provocateurs, legal or otherwise.

I will not disclose classified information, but there is a great deal in the public domain I can tell you to give you the Big Picture. We must consider, as sad as it may be in America, that the Capitol Riot is being used as the pretext for a full police state action against the Biden Administration's and Marxist Congressional Democrats' political opposition and that all methods, legal or otherwise, will be used against us. This includes the use of wiretapping, Stingrays, domestic data collection and distribution by NSA, geotracking and whatever other methodologies they see fit. Does anyone really doubt, given the lawless actions of federal LEO and intelligence agencies over the past few years, that they are incapable of being even more felonious than the Capitol Riot suspects they now pursue without relent?

But don't take my word for it. Ask Marilyn Hueper, Joe Bolanos, Tucker Carlson, or anyone that has been held without bond or even charge for months in DC jails in association with January 6th.

On that note, please consider the following.

1. Assume that all of your phone and social media platform communications, metadata, emails, and even personal movements may be monitored by the FBI and DoJ in coordination with the Biden NSC, legally or otherwise.

2. Assume that if you do know someone who was or is a person of interest in reaction to the Capitol riot, that any communications you have with that person come under the auspices of a "roving wiretap" and that you and anyone you contact may now be surveilled independently as a person of interest, legally or otherwise.

3. Beware of agents provocateurs who befriend and commiserate with you online via email or social media platforms and try to push your righteous political anger and indignation into the realm of violence.

4. Trust no one you don't already know very well when it comes to discussing these contentious issues. Don't let anyone stoke your anger to the point you unlawfully threaten political or other violence.

I am not a conspiracy theorist. What have I said here that is not fact-based or beyond the realm of possibility given current events? This is a terrible time in America, where so many of the things we hold dear are under constant assault. But i can deal with the racist evil of Critical Race Theory and Marxist Democrats spewing hate against our beloved nation on a daily basis. Those foul America-hating reprobates can be voted or legislated out of the public square over time.

What I can't deal with, and will not, is a burgeoning fascist totalitarian police state in which the full brunt of federal law enforcement and intelligence agencies are being brought to bear against whole swaths of Americans for political reasons only. I am hoping this matter can be settled via elections the next three years, and that these rats' nests of traitors to the American people and all we stand for will be publicly shamed and driven out via another Church Committee.

In the meantime, watch your six. In closing, it is my humble opinion that the feds should be directing all of these monumental efforts into hunting down Antifa and BLM psychotics who, unlike the Capitol rowdies, have actually injured and are guilty of attempted murder against hundreds of federal LEOs. As it is, FBI website search results for Antifa have been stuck on 1 for over a year, and DoJ has dropped hundreds of charges against same. And where is the FBI investigation into the Antifa attack on Rep. Nancy Mace's house in Charleston? Some Department of Justice, huh? All involved in this heinous nationwide plot to subvert our Constitution and rights to freedom from fear of political persecution by a de facto police state must be brought to account when the Marxist Democrats are driven out of government.

A most troubling report by Redstate as regards expansion of the wholly unaccountable Capitol Police into the States

It's unconstitutional under our unitary presidency.

It’s like the Democrats don’t worry about elections anymore.

You mean FBI agents?

A squadron of tethered blimps over DC would be so cool.

Welcome to Free Republic:

Thanks for this advice:

1. Assume that all of your phone and social media platform communications, metadata, emails, and even personal movements may be monitored by the FBI and DoJ in coordination with the Biden NSC, legally or otherwise.

2. Thanks for your most excellent post and comment!!! Need more, please.

I’m calling my State Reps here in FL to pull the rug out from inder the capitol police office coming here. They were not established as an LE function under the Constitution. No executive branch oversight. Patently illegal.

Florida needs to ensure they can’t come here, period, and should be arrested if they do. No FL LE branch should enable them. No FL property used.

At first, I thought this was an editorial production of the Babylon Bee !
Then, I went to the original website

The creation of a Nation Capital Police Force, in multiple locations, under control of Congress, is the beginnings of "The Stazi".
It could only come from a disturbed mind who believes that a national police force is even necessary,
given the level of support that certain Congressional representatives have given to criminal protest on the west coast.
It could only come from a disturbed mind of someone who would ask for several 'belt-driven, heavy automatic weapons' to be posted after a three hour peaceful demonstration.

I cautioned FReepers about this technology in the Baltimore story thread. We’re there now, warfare technology is being used against us. More information here. capitol-police-to-use-same-surveillance-equipment-troops-used-against-terrorists-in-iraq-afghanistan
