The resemblance between the two voices is uncanny. Both in voice quality and speaking patterns of Arizona gubernatorial candidate Katie Hobbs and Brett Kavanaugh accuser Christine Blasey Ford. Since it seems like Blasey Ford was coached to sound like a helpless child, many in the public did not buy into that phony way of speaking. Listen to them both speaking back to back and judge for yourselves whether Katie Hobbs consciously decided to borrow Blasey Ford's helpless child voice while making her pitiful apology.
PING!
Oh good grief! There’s a strong, true leader…NOT!
I had to stop watching! Brought back ptsd from libtard lies.
Kathleen Marie “Katie” Hobbs is an American politician and social worker who is serving as Secretary of State of Arizona since January 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, she was an Arizona state senator representing the 24th district from 2013 to 2019 and an Arizona state representative representing the 15th district from 2011 to 2013. She is the Democratic nominee in the 2022 Arizona gubernatorial election.Wikipedia
Comparing Hobbs with Blasey Ford is one thing. More telling would be to compare Hobbs with a sound bite of Lake.
LOL! Maybe I needed another cup of coffee because I put “VOICE” where “VIDEO” should have gone.
It’ll be seared into Katie’s “hippopotamus” the day Kari Lake curbstomps her ass in November.
Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs is coming under attack from within her own party over her involvement in events which led a federal jury to award $2.75 million in damages this week to a former policy advisor Hobbs helped fire in 2015.Hobbs' Conduct Under Question After Jury Verdict In Retaliatory Firing And Discrimination Case (AZ SoS)
That and upspeak are two ways women can quickly lose credibility in front of peers. I hear it at work a lot.
This is a candidate speaking to appease a small but influential group of Democrat voters who are only happy when people conform to their views. The ironic thing is than apologizing in this manner only makes matters worse.
It is an embarrassment that a person holding elected office in a state government should speak in such a groveling manner while claiming to represent the entirety of the state’s population.
She is unworthy of the office she presently holds and certainly would be a poor choice for the highest elected state government leadership position in Arizona.
Maybe the Dims got a multi-discount...maybe even two for the price of one!
This one just sounds like a fairly common squeaky millennial woman intonation. There is a reporter with a bad case of it on NPR. Sounds like a junior high student reporting the news.
And yeah, Hobbs is a bit old for it.
Anybody interviewing to fill a position that encounters a womYn that speaks like this should end the interview quickly and toss the resume. It is more than a silly way of speaking. These types are usually full on woke, permanent victims and will sue you for something if you look at them the wrong way. Or they are bird brains and you don’t want them anyway. Like....rillllly.
Kamala uses that up-speak feature all the time. She is so annoying.
She sounds like she is in junior high. Pardon me, but she comes across as terribly whiney.
what is she apologizing for?
I missed FR for a few days this week (Monday, Tuesday) and I feel like I don’t know anything...
