Biden attacks pharmaceutical companies for raising drug costs
HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. — President Joe Biden is in South Florida where he has a full day of events scheduled in both Broward and Miami-Dade counties.
The visit comes amid early voting and a week before the crucial midterm elections on Nov. 8.
The president plans to hold events with Democratic gubernatorial candidate Charlie Crist and Florida senatorial candidate U.S. Rep. Val Demings.

Virtually all my income is from SS. I’m not the least bit worried about the GOP gutting it. Frankly, I don’t know where he’s getting this from.

Democrats are attacking SS and Medicare.
They usually say grandma will have to eat cat food, and this year they would be right due to their own mismanagement of the economy.
What a big, fat, stinky-diapered liar.
Let me tell you what’s wrong with Social Security. It was supposed to be for one, small, limited purpose. The money was sequestered from the regular budget. Then, almost immediately, the “purpose” got broader, and this has continued every year since inception. Now, SS covers an astonishing range of giveaways and to people most of whom never paid in a cent. Then there was the sequestered fund. LBJ wanted money for his Great Society, so they did a trick called “conforming” the budget. They took the fund that was set aside for that one function and started issuing IOU’s. Is it any wonder that SS is out of money? Then there’s the trick of adding more and more money into the money supply so that it decreases the buying power of the people receiving “fixed” incomes that are keyed off their earnings made while paying in instead of what the pay-in would have looked like in present year inflated dollars. In short, our government is performing financial anal sex on us.
