If they can get him in a cell, they can turn the cameras off. Then, Epstein him, thinking no one will fight for a dead candidate. the Pubs certainly won’t.
Musk is, unfortunately, probably wrong. An arrest will galvanize Trump’s base. And it will enrage some patriotic middle-of-the-roaders. Those folks will give Trump another look.
But leftists will still vote Democrat. And soccer moms will still shy away from Trump because of his mean tweets. And I’m not even considering voter fraud yet.
Sorry for the pessimism. As I see it, the only way out would be for the entire media to wake up and denounce the arrest, while at the same time highlighting Biden’s many real crimes. What’s the chance of that happening?
Arresting Trump will make me want to vote 100 times for him. I just gotta figure out how to do it. I’ll have to consult with my ‘democrat friends’ about how they do it.
Maybe. If he is arrested he’ll be in and out of NYC the same day and then bailed out and back down in Florida. Then his lawyers will delay the trial by at least a year. Anything that happens this week is just an intermediate move, not the end game.

He’ll turn himself in for a quick booking, and quick bailout. They will want it over ASAP to prevent any sympathy or riots.
I think it’s an outrageous move by the prosecutor, but I don’t expect it to move the needle much politically. Most of the people Trump needs to come back to supporting him are turned of by trails over porn stars, calling for protests, etc.
