A semi-liberal friend of mine told me about a place called Kerala, I think in India, which is an example of a place where communism has worked. She mentions things like, he literacy rate in Kerala has been between 85% and 95% literacy. The support Keralites give to communism can easily be seen. Etc.

She sent me this link,

Does anybody have any opinion on this, give me more info?

The USSR had high literacy too, and not confined to a single city.
