Prayer Request for my Daughter

Hi everyone, I would like prayer for my daughter.

On monday evening (4/4) she landed wrong while bouncing on a trampoline and suffered an injury to her right foot/ankle.

She has a "avulsed avicular bone" in the top of her foot where an ankle ligament attaches to the foot.

She is to see an Orthopedic Doc on thursday.

She is only 9 years old, and is a Level 5 gymnast, needless to say this could be quite serious.

Please pray that the injury will be healed or not as severe as originally thought so that she can be "back on her feet"

She's quite depressed about having to miss gymnastics, and even more bugged by the prospect of not being able to participate in the "Presidential Fitness Challenge" later this month.

PRAYER UPDATE:

I just got off the phone with my wife and here's the news.

Ele does have the "avulsed avicular" (small piece with ligament attached) and a possible minor break on the growth plate in the ankle joint (X-rays still inconclusive on that)

BUT:

She's on a weight bearing cast for 3 weeks, then re-exam with possibility of another 3 weeks in a cast or possibly some other brace/immobilizer.

Prognosis:
Full recovery with no loss of motion or any other complications.

GOD IS FAITHFUL TO ANSWER OUR PRAYERS!
