From the site:
No great adventure for Lemmiwinks...for now.
As you all know, we were supposed to be having Lemmiwinks return this season, unfortunately I am the bringer of bad news to you all. Lemmiwinks will not be airing the first half of the eighth season, or the second half. I can't really tell you why because, well, I'm really not sure, hell, I'm not even sure if this news I'm giving you will stay the same! Just know that Lemmiwinks will return... eventually. Please remember, that the "Tragedy in Hawaii" disclaimer at the beginning of the A.W.E.S.O.M - O was just a joke, and had nothing to do with the release of Lemmiwinks!

Do you remember how they hyped up the "Who is Cartman's Father" episode to kick off the new season a few years back? They then ran Terrance and Phillip's "Asses of Fire" instead.
The phone calls that Comedy Central got from viewers bitching at and threatening them were turned into commercials and they were the some of the funniest calls I have ever heard.

Those were hysterical! I wouldn't mind a show just airing the phone calls.
Perhaps I'm the only one, but I thought "Asses of Fire" was kinda funny. Something about Terrance being the father of Celine Dion's love child had me on the floor. However, my meds have been adjusted since, and perhaps I'd have a different perspective now.

I remember that well, and actually consider the Terence & Phillip episode to be one fo the best of that season, and in my personal top 5 favorites. The commercials they made out of the phone calls complaints were hilarious as well.
To: Phantom Lord
"Not Without My Anus" IIRC. "Asses of Fire" was the T&P movie in BLU.

I too think
Asses of Fire is an outstanding episode. I will admit to being pissed when they cut to it from the scene at the lab when Dr. Mafesto was about to tell who Eric's father was.
And then when they finally revealed who his father was they again got angry calls about who the father was!

I hated South Park before I ever watched it. My husband would keep trying to get me to watch it and I would stick up my nose and refuse. Then I caved and watched and episode entitled "Super Best Friends". It was the funniest tv show I'd ever seen. I still giggle when I think about it. It was completely silly about David Blaine being the devil and Jesus and a crew of "super Best Friends" (Buddah, Mohammed, Krishna & sea man) out to defeat Blaine
Jesus radios Moses for information on how to kill a giant stone Abraham Lincoln that Blaine made come to life. Moses thinks for a second and replies "Um...Uh...Maybe a giant, stone, John Wilkes Booth"
Funny show. I'm hooked now.

I remember seeing commercials for South Park before an episode ever aired. I thought it looked like the stupidest show ever invented and didn't tune in for the series premiere or any shows after that. Then I started seeing things in the press about parents groups who wanted it off the air. I thought to myself, "I have to see this show."
First episode I ever saw was the Cathy Lee Gifford episode. I bout pissed my pants I was laughing so hard. My wife and I loved it and we never miss it.

I guess I am a mutant because I was dying to see the first episode after I saw the promos. I had grown weary of Beavis & Butthead. South Park was a welcome addition to my 7th grade humor viewing habits. The Young Ones are another favorite of mine, but they haven't had a new episode in over a decade. They are still very funny. Some things never lose their humor....like the 3 Stooges....always funny.

I think I know why you loved that episode.
It had moose & cheese.
