Some thoughts on the life and death of Terry Schiavo
It is unfortunate that we have to be "either or" on Mrs. Schiavo.
I can appreciate the FRFolks who adamantly oppose any taking of any life.
I'm somewhat confused by the opinions of some of the same folks who have no objection to the death penalty for criminals.
I have a strong opinion on the matter of human death too.
First....I believe that our Creator certainly had a plan for permanancy of the souls he/she/it fashioned.
What would be the point of populating the earth (and elsewhere?) with xxxillions of humans only to have them (1)turn to dust, (2)go to heaven, hell or purgatory or (3) sit on clouds adoring the Creator for the 'rest of existence'.
We won't know until we leave this existence and enter the next one the answer to Terry Schiavo's situation.
We can also look forward to learning why we had to live with Attila, The Inquisition, Gengis Khan, Hitler, Tojo, Saddam, the completely unfathomable 'Iraqi insurgents" and an entire litany of less than perfect creatures.
I expect some flaming for this post. So be it!
But those who are interested can read another post of mine in the FR archives which I think will reflect on my personal attitude toward loss.....search on "Brodie died today."
May Michael live in constant misery and die a slow painful death! I wish people would stop calling her "Mrs Schiavo"-makes me sick to think of her as his "wife".
I expect some flaming for this post. So be it!
Isnt that why you wrote this crap in the first place?
Either or what? Either you think she should starve, or you think she should not starve.

Yes, I'd say you're confused then.

Maybe because the crimminals have committed heinous crimes?
Teri on the other hand is merely a disabled woman.
Matthew 5:44.
