	I said it was wrong to kill her. That is my opinion. Nothing can change it. No list of "facts" will ever change it. And I put "facts" in quotes because most of the so-called "facts" posted here were in fact "opinion." Whether it was a poster's opinion, a reporter's opinion, her husband's opinion, a relative's opinion, a supporter's opinion, a detractor's opinion, a politician's opinion, a lawyer's opinion, a doctor's opinion, the president's opinion, the governor's opinion, or even the judge's opinion - they were and are all opinions. And none of them are incontrovertible or indisputable fact. In fact, they continue calling in more doctors and more experts to give their opinion even after it's all said and done. In this battle of press, public, politicians, doctors, lawyers and "experts" the side with the most thumbs down votes won and she was killed. What was it, two out of three or three out of five? How about we go for seven out of twelve? How about one "no" vote out of twelve and you don't execute? The last I heard, in this country when you are on trial for your life, if there is one doubtful juror, you don't receive a death sentence. The accused receives the benefit of the doubt. Of course, Terri did not even receive the benefit of a trial much less the benefit of the doubt. She was simply snuffed out per a judge's order based on three out of five expert "opinions." Well that not surprising, Terri was adopted by many as a 'sister'. Some who are grieving are nowhere's near ready to come back, some are still in shock or ill. Grief has to take its own course.

I hope most freepers are back in time to raise some H*LL with congress and the state legislatures to make ABSOLUTELY sure this can happen NEVER AGAIN!!!

I guess I should kick in a little extra to FR this month to show my appreciation...

People that can stand around and defend the judicial murder by starvation of an innocent disabled woman by claiming that they believe in the "rule of law" are truly frightening, IMHO.

If nothing else, the Terri Schiavo atrocity exposed an awful lot of "politics over principle" types.

What I can't get over is all the FReepers I have seen disparage JimRob for his position. As if FR was their creation and not his, and should rightly be able to follow the direction he wants it to take.

I'm thinking that all the bitterness of the folks who can't take others disagreeing with them on this matter is what is making the current FReepathon progress so slowly. Well, at least it's progressing slowly in my estimation (yes, to whoever is thinking the question, I've already made my donation).

I had always assumed that in my native country the life of no innocent person hinged upon a vote. That was the overriding issue in this case. It's horrifying to think that a judicial or legislative body can decree the murder of an innocent person, and that the rectitude of such a decree will be seen as nothing more than the effect of law; of majority rule. It was never meant to be that way.

That such a verdict was rendered in the Sheeples Republic of FloriDUH will probably not come as a surprise to many. Any state which is not diligent and vigilant will find its own people subjected to what has happened in FloriDUH.

We are rightfully the most divided people in American history. One one side are those who uphold the Founding Documents, believe in a limited government, etc. On the other are what may succinctly described as Statists.
As Ray Harbin so well said, "Between a fire and a fire brigade there can be no compromise". When the history of our time is written, the FR community that Jim Robinson started will most assuredly be included. 'Tis a pity FR could dislodge Dan Rather but not Judge Greer.

Terri ran out of luck. A different draw from the 11th circuit and she'd still be alive.

Life or death for an innocent person should never be a matter of "luck" in our system of justice.
