ZOT!!! No Juwish Mod can refuse Tijeras_Slim anything on his birthday.

Posted on 09/07/2005 9:07:28 AM PDT by XtremeSS

First of all I "middle of the road" I dont blame the president for katrina, I believe in gun ownership, I think you should drive what ever you want, and I hold people responsible for actions they take.

I also believe in a womans right to choose, we should do all we can to protect the enviroment and helping the poor.

I was banned for nothing more than people who do not want to face facts, crying to moderators.

I have read this forum many times, some things I agree with and some I dont. But I just saw how the underground works first hand!

Pal, you only now realized that there are rules in a privately owned website. Here's a good book for you!

At what point does a baby become a person. Surely you agree that punching a 1-month old infant in the face is wrong. Well, bow about a 8-month "fetus" It would be wrong to punch a pregnant mother in the stomach, right? Well, a 1 day old "fetus" has all the DNA and everything else it needs to become a baby, it just needs time to grow. Killing a "fetus" at any stage of development is murder. Pure, plain and simple murder. There is no way around it.

You weren't given a drivers license at birth, were you? Why? Because you needed time to grow and develop. Should you have never been allowed to get your drivers license just because you you didn't have the skills to drive at 3 days old? So why should a baby be murdered just because it's not "viable"?

Get a clue, man, and thank GOD! your momma is smarter than you.

Ever given any Texas thought to the restrictions on liberty such laws would entail? Or to the fact that those restrictive powers, once given, could be used by governments to control every other aspect of our lives?

Your premise is false.
XtremeSS said " - I hold people responsible for actions they take" then he said " - I also believe in a womans right to choose"
The subject is personal responsibility.
Want to tell me how abortion fits in with accepting responsibility and the consequences of your actions?

Coercion happens. Rape happens, thus men & women are not always 'responsible' for pregnancy. Humans err.
Morning after pills are available, and if they don't work other means can be used, but once past very early term pregnancy, responsibility shifts to protecting the rights of the unborn child.

If the child is murdered, the State has the responsibility to prosecute, and a jury the responsibility to see that justice is done.

But the State does not have the power, or the responsibility, to prohibit early term abortion, and both historically & constitutionally never has been granted that power.

The 'prohibition power' dog don't hunt.

dimquest, again you have shown you aren't getting the point.

How about you actually READ what was said?

Instead of doing a Clintonian two step and trying to go all tangential, how about facing the point that is right before your nose?

So dim...can you or anyone else tell us where that line is? The answer is no, and thus the left/liberals want to err on the side of death...right up to birth and beyond. But, if we err, we must err on the side of life, or we are wholly untrue to the foundational principles of this republic.

Hard to get around that right to life thing. All of the sophistry and fine words in the world will not negate it.

The prohibition that is really happening here is the prohibition on life itself. Whether we will choose life as opposed to convienence killing as a way of getting around the natural responsibility for unrestricted sex. When it is all boiled down, that is what is at issue here.

A society that chooses the former is true to its liberty roots...a liberty founded on moral responsibility. A society that chooses the latter is paving a road to hell and ruin with the death of its most innocent and defenseless.

See Firece Allegiance's post in 125.

Yes, I am personally responsible for the "Separate Ways" video...the unintentional comedy highlight of the 1980s. :)
