I can say without an iota of hesitation or regret that I will cast a ballot for a Democrat for only the third time in my 26 years of voting. The only Democrats I ever voted for were Ann Richards for governor on TX against that quack Clayton Williams and for Lloyd Bentsen for Senator from TX. Due to my total disgust with the way the Federal and the state governments have conducted themselves and how they have failed to act in the interest of this country, I will proudly vote a straight Democrat ticket this year and as a...

Socialism is best because under socialism. No one has to worry about being poor or starving to death. No one is poor, unemployed, discriminated, everyone is equal reguardless or race or creed. Today such ideas are condemned as evil. Any attempt to protest against slavery and genocide and human rights violations are met with the cries of COMMUNISM! By the religious right and then they conjure up stories about Stalin, Gulags, tortue, police state etc. So therefore we must stick with the current system of sweat shop slavery, poverty and racism while rich people who already have all they will...

Big Brother watches Free Republic. I was reading the post DIESEL BLUES I had PerrGuardian 2 running; and what do I see being blocked U.S. Environmental Protection Agency 72.240.241.61:1395. Maybe now I should wait for the knock on the door, but I don’t think they will knock first. They will probably just take my harddrive to see what other NEWS I am reading.

George W. Bush has talked openly about accomplishing the New World Order, which is a worldwide government that will lead to antichrist's rule and reign. In his Second Inaugural Address on January 20, 2005, President Bush said that he invaded Afghanistanand Iraq because he was attempting to complete an Ancient Plan based on an “Ancient Hope”, a Plan called the “New Order of the Ages”. His father, George Bush, while president, said on Sept 11th, 1990, that we are on the dawn of a "New World Order". That was 11 years TO THE DAY of 9/11/2001. Grandpa Bush, Prescott, was...

As someone who was (unfairly?) zotted oh so many moons ago because as a n00b I didn't understand the point to which some mods didn't understand sarcasm, I would like to put forward the (perhaps heretical) notion that we shouldn't be quite so quick on the zot. Recently, a FReeper put forward the notion of a "probationary period" before being allowed to post. I would argue that as long as the posts are rated "PG" (I understand that this is a family chat board) we should allow ALL viewpoints to be presented here. There are a couple of good reasons:...

George W. Bush is Becoming More Like Hitler Everyday 1) The republican party and Bush almost mirror the propaganda methods used by Hitler in old nazi germany. The republicans are calling this fight against terrorism a war, this is propaganda. It is not a war, congress has to declare war and they have not done that. It is propaganda to call a fight against terrorism a war. Hitler on Propaganda - From chapter 6 of Mein Kampf: The function of propaganda does not lie in the scientific training of the individual, but in calling the masses' attention to certain facts,...

I am curious why none of the media covers the most important aspect of the Malvo shootings. If you look at Newspapers on the dates when the shootings are underway you discover something I find quite interesting. The shootings begin to dominate the news the day before the debate on the Iraq war starts and they catch them the day after the declaration of war??? If you ask most people "do you remember the debate about starting the second Iraq war", they will all answer "yes of course". But if you followup with the question "name one point in the...

I recently received a reply to a post that stated: "This should be beneath a "freeper". Sad." So I asked.. what is it that makes a FReeper? My reply (and I will admit was tasteless) was also questioning. It stirred controversy and was removed? Why Moderators? Can you not tell me? Did it not meet with your "FReeper" mentality? According to all posted guidelines it should be listed but no, you chose to delete it. Yes.. I'm the first one IBTZ, I'm sure you'll nick me for speaking up..

Hello, fellow white people! Yeeeeeehaawwwwww! What in tarnation is all this jibber jabber I hear about the Iraqi war going anything but one hundred percent perfectly?! I tell ya what that is: COMMIE talk! These Un-American libs (which include minorities, women, and other minorities, such as blacks and homosexual gay queers!) the war has turned into a black hole with no "forseeable" (whatever in tarnation that big word means) end in sight. To this I say, shut your damn mouth! The only opinions that should be expressed are those that are in total agreement with our distinguished president, Dick Cheney,...

It seems that a "clean up" has taken place at the Protest Warriors Forum. They have banned several of there conservative members that supposedly had been posting gay pornography, starting personal attack topics against users, and/or spamming the forum. I have been a member of Protest Warrior for almost three years and have not seen one of the people mentioned ever post "gay porn", and the only time they have ever insulted or attacked anyone from the forum was in self defense. Most of the banned did have strong conviction when it came to homosexuality. Obviously there are quite a...

John McCain is running for President 2008. As a republican candidate, John McCain could win the republican nomination. Many feel if John McCain runs against Hillary Clinton, he would win the presidential election in 2008. John McCain graduated from the Naval Academy in 1958. After graduation, John McCain became a Naval Avaitor. For over 5 years, John McCain was a Vietnam captive. John McCain became a US Senator for Arizona in 1986. Senator John McCain is now Chairman of the Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation, and is known for his successful passing of Campaign Finance Reform. Express your...

I don't want Ben Ladin to prevail in what is the most serious of kinds but doing the deeds of crminilaty my not work to the good advantage too. Bush’s giant Right Wing Noise Machine (RWNM) loves to preach about the Bush economic miracle. In fact, the RWNM’s current thinking is Bush doesn’t spend enough time talking about his economic triumphs. If only he did, then everyone would fall in line and believe in the great Bush economic miracle. There is one problem with this argument: it’s a lie. Any way you look at the Bush economy, it comes up short. Today, I want to compare Bush’s job creation record with other economic recoveries. As usual, Bush comes up way short. The national Bureau of Economic Research has identified...

Looking closely at the life of Muhammad, we find that he was a superstitious man and many of his superstitions became part of the religion that originated with him – Islam. One aspect in which this is manifest is in his attitude toward dogs. He made a number of irrational comments about dogs. His beliefs on dogs may have come from various sources such as cultural bias, pagan concepts, demonic influences, or perhaps from his own imagination. In any case they portray a man ascribing to superstition. His perspective concerning dogs is somewhat bizarre and deserves a close examination. From...

What is Derr you may ask? Derr may be the most important thing you may have to worry about. Derr is very evil, very naughty and very ungodly. It is believed to be the reason for why we aren't doing so well in Iraq. But back to the question... What exactly is Derr? Derr is a satanic ritual performed in this country long ago by the Canaanites, the Perezites, the Gurgashites, the Ammorites, the Moabites and the Hittites. It involved taking a stick from a wheat tree and sticking it up your nose while shouting, "Hey mom! Ship ahoy! There...

I have been arguing with stupid libs for two days saying that Bush committed no crime because under the provisions of the USSID 18 and the FSIA, he could with perfect legitimacy eavesdrop on aliens involved in terrorist activities if he had AG approval. However, what was puzzling is that Gonzales did not cite USSID 18; he cited the more dubious rationale of war powers approval. This would seem to indicate that Bush was spying on US citizens without a Court Order which clearly violates USSID 18 and the FSIA, and was using war powers approval to cover for it....

Lies of omission about 9/11 -- stoking fears of terrorism THEY WANT YOU TO BE AFRAID The following post was censored by freerepublic.com shortly after it was posted on their "public" forum on 9/11/04. George Bush Senior SHOULD have got rid of Saddam Hussein in 1991. Its 13 years too late now and hundreds of thousands of people have died for his stupidity. When Bush Sr. pulled out of Iraq it was for the same reason America pulled out of Vietnam. There would have been no argument about whether Saddam had "weapons of mass destruction" back then. He did have them, and he used them on Iraqis who had helped the Americans in the Gulf War. You see, the Americans made a deal with a large number of Iraqis that they would help them...

Can you believe that folks actually donate money to The Free Republic.com censors/cheerleaders, when they could otherwise donate to impoverished kids! I posted the first 3 paragraphs of my home page on 10-7-05 at around 6:30 am, with a fresh identity, using treasury as the link source, at freerepublic.com. Washington -- "Armies are fragile institutions and, for all their might, easily broken." Remember those words? They were written here, in this column, at the end of September 2003. I laid out the recipe for how to break a magnificent Army that had taken nearly two decades to rebuild itself in the wake of the Vietnam debacle. In that early fall two years ago, Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld was still running victory laps and the words of his boss, President George W. Bush, were still ringing: "Bring `em on!" Sadly, those two were, and still are, in charge. Now...

Yes it is. At least when it comes to hating Bush and you Nazis. Nahh. I don't advocate violence. That's for Bush and you scum who love killing Iraqi children. You are not welcome in my business, though, and I encourage all rational people not to let any Bush supporters in their business. We don't want your money. Try and find Nazi Germany. Are there any decent people here who will join me in condemning this horrible administration?

I was sent to a cruel West Texas prison on a trumped up charge by the evil prosecutor Ronnie Earl. I was forced to work long hours in the hot sun under the direction of sadistic guards. On particularly awful day, they gave us no water until the end of the day. When I went to get my water, the guard sneered "no water for him." When I desperately tried to get some, I was knocked to the ground. I figured I was done for, but then I was handed a cup of water by a stranger. The guards did...

It is not only possible, it is now likely. Iran has announced it will open an oil bourse in the coming months, with payment in Euros accepted. The significance of this for geopolitics cannot be overstated. The dollar enjoys its status as the world's reserve currency because currently every nation has to exchange its currency for dollars to buy oil. This creates an artificial demand for dollars. That demand helps to prop the dollar up. China, Russia, and to a lesser extent, Europe, all want this to change. Some Arab nations also want it to change, because as the situation...

This pledge drive is going way too slowly for my comfort. Please donate now! What if we lose Free Republic? Where else are we going to find a group of people who show unquestioned support for a President with 35% approval ratings? Whao is going to organize the "Free Tom Delay" and "Free Karl Rove" protest rallies? If everyone would just donate $1.99 (the price of a 6 pack of Pabst, as you all are aware) we can lick this thing. So donate. What's more important, your country or your beer?

"You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.' But I tell you, do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you." (Matthew 5:38-42, NIV). "But I say...

From the Roundtable Discussion: Definitely a political problem but I wonder, George Will, do you think it’s a manageable one for the White House especially if we don’t know whether Fitzgerald is going to write a report or have indictments but if he is able to show as a source close to this told me this week, that President Bush and Vice President Cheney were actually involved in some of these discussions.

I have been talking to people about the Republican Liberty Caucus, but I have been having a hard time explaining the issue to people. Our statements of principle have always centered around smaller government and proptecting our rights. A surprisingly small majority of Americans support these two principles, but it's enough to form a political movement. The RLC has its own statement of principles, and its own conventions. Members are not expected to tow the party line, especially for RINO's. I believe that we should sell the RLC as a separate political group that supports libertarians, constitutionalists, reform party members,...

I was reading the text of the interview between Kalb and Rather and learned that the Rather story on Bush's aborted National Guard service was thwarted by "blogs" called "Free Republic" and "Buckhead." I did find a Buckhead.org, but it just seems to be a bland Atlanta area news source, so I don't know the story in that. So I came here. And guess what? Nothing. Your story page is nothing more than boilerplate site/conservative mission comments. I really don't know why this blog is meaningful at all. I would guess the main stream media has nothing to worry about.
