A New York City teenager fell out the window of a moving bus while using the restroom Tuesday and landed on the New York State Thruway.
State police said Jose Gonzales, 17, lost his balance when the chartered bus swerved to change lanes. It was unclear how fast the bus was going.
Gonzales was taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. Police said he'll recover.
Gonzales fell onto the shoulder of the thruway near Exit 23 southbound.
He had been at the Capitol on Tuesday to lobby with a group on the issue of AIDS.
He was on the John.
OK, excuse my ignorance, but I'm wondering - is "Jose Gonzales" the Hispanic equivalent of "John Smith"?
I think the word "the" is superfluous in that sentence.
LOL...great post
I have ridden on buses. None of the bathrooms had windows. Story seems odd.
I have found that it is absolutely impossible for me to use ANY washroom in ANY moving vehicle, be it bus, train, airplane, RV or what not. To quote Cheech Marin, "It gets stage fright, man".
Your showing your age, and my responding shows mine.

Mine's already showing. I was just thinking that today when I walked on to an elevator and saw my reflection. The reflection did not match my minds eye image of myself. My inner dialog says 30-35, the reflection says something much older unfortunately.
