I am not joking about the very warm salt water (as warm and as long as she can handle it - but do boil the water so that it is as sterile as can be). It will give her some relief as puncture bites can be very painful.

We'd often see a dog chasing the cat only to see the same dog running for its life a few minutes later with the Chow in hot pursuit.hee hee!

May she be around for many more years.
Of my two black and white cats, the younger one is definitely nuts, but not violently so. He does have a weird fetish for attacking my feet, but only if I'm wearing socks. (Must be socks on feet; bare feet and/or loose socks he couldn't care less about.) Also, when I came home a few days ago reeking of Clorox (long, boring story) he started attacking me, but even then he soft-mouthed me. [I've heard that Clorox fumes make cats violent; now I believe it.]

That's a reasonable precaution when dealing with a calico! That's the truth! I had a calico put me in the hospital.

Lewis, a 5-year-old, black-and-white longhaired cat Lewis? Nope, don't know him. Not me.

But I have heard that about Torties. And speaking from experience. I have my 2nd and 3rd torty at home. One is fairly laid back and predictable, but the other is downright loony. My two kittens are Torbies. They're both nuts... must be the Tortie side coming out?

Hmm, that's the first I've read about other cats and Clorox. If there's a spot on the floor - usually because of the dogs - that I had to clean with Clorox spray, my cat rolls in it as soon as I finish blotting up with paper towels. I thought she was the only one with this fetish. She doesn't get violent, though.

In fairness, my cat wasn't truly violent; he was frantically-but-playfully soft-mouthing me. He definitely went cuckoo for Clorox, though.

I have 3 cats and one of them has the bleach fetish, and all 3 of them have an ant fetish. Ant's give out a odor when they are crushed that drives cat's wild. I always know when the ant's are getting into the house as the cats are rolling and wiggling all over the kitchen floor.

Yep. Torbies and Torties have what cat snobs call "Tortie- tude"

I hate cats.
Actually, that's not true. I hate people who let their cats run around outside. But the cats are the ones that suffer for it.

I love cats. But they can be hard to skin and tend to be chewy.
