And now the Dinklemeyer:

As far as the Dinklemeyer cartoon universe goes, this is the official turning point. The strip right here makes the transition from being a poignant look at a lonely boy (there is still more of that in the future though) to a goofy, funny cartoon. This also continues the “Pig Acceptance Story” in which the talking pig is pressing for acceptance in the Dinklemeyer household. How this ties in with that, we’ll see next time. And it is too funny.

Good job AGAIN my friend.. the donkey being outsourced by a Mexican burrow? what a complete hoot!

my two cents says keep your name in

Day changes.. well, this is a great "off weekend place" for the singles.. and so having a NON Friday post would be good.

You might also consider a WED only post as if you soon get employment your time/energy will be quite different. Your fans will eagerly welcome & enjoy your posting no matter what the days/times etc.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us & letting us watch the evolution of the cartoon. (plus it is fun peaking at your HS days).. I always wondered what my students were doing during class.. I KNEW THEY WEREN'T TAKING NOTES! for sure.. but I always felt if I offered them nothing in class it was their choice what to do. They would sink /swim at exam time!

Thanks Dolly.

That's really why I need to change. Like you said, this thread is kind of a "singles off-weekend" place. Most of the people who come here are in fact on the singles ping list as well. So just a little while after this one is posted on Friday, the singles thread is posted and everyone is gone.

Last Tuesday the cartoon got 1,300+ views, and then Friday got only 200. So a change is in order.

Wednesdays aren't good because I'm such a religious innocent little guy, I go to church on Wednesdays.

Ughh...I'm exhausted.

There's SO much that's been going on on FR lately. It's wearin' me out!

It's amazing that I got ALL this done sitting in class. Yet I hardly remember any of my homework or lessons.

Actually P. I never really considered that you needed a schedule to post these cartoons. I've always believed it was as it should be " at your convenience."

Also, I never considered that PCottraux Freeptoons was vainglorious.

So I guess what I'm saying is.... I'm fine having the opportunity to see your work at any point and the chance then to post appropriate compliments.

Any days you want to post are fine, just don't stop. : )

And I think you should keep your name in the title. It's not vain at all, it's just the truth!

Well, thanks everyone.

It's looking like I'm going to be keeping my name in the title. But the date changing is inevitable.

Also, I'm about to start taking my name out of the title. It just seems too vain.

And if you draw mohammed, it can result in loss of noggin.

Keep up the great work. Your drawing of Hillary gives me the willies. But then, of course, Hillary gives me the willies.

I had a good idea once. It involved a "back-in-time" strips, to the earliest days of Islam. It showed Muhammed writing the Koran and creating the religion. But the gag was, the real-life Muhammed was a cartoon smiley-face.

Then Allah gives him a divine vision of the future, showing the outrage over the cartoons today. Muhammed is confused because the cartoons are what he really looks like. So to prevent the riots from happening, he makes it an Islamic sin for Muslims to make an image of himself, in an attempt to stifle violence.

It was an idea, but a bit of a complicated one.

I've been following your work for a little while now and have watched your God-given talent improve steadily.

I thought that your plot-line for today's Freeptoon was very well thought out and REALLY funny!

Please add me to your ping list...

Yes, it's like having a pub called 'Bob's Place' - adds a bit of character to it!!

Hello, and welcome aboard.

As I often mention, if you want to see ALL of the cartoons I've drawn, they're down at the bottom of my home page.

Alrighty then.

The title stays the same.

I'm guessing it's going to be "Pcottraux's Monday FReeptoon" and "Pcottraux's Thursday FReeptoon".

I drew a poor one, but the idea was good. Mo was in a cave conversing with a cardboard cut-out of an angel being held up by the tale of a serpent hiding behind it.

Mo said "imagine...me, a prophet."

And the serpent said, "Not "a" prophet, Mo...THE PROPHET."
