In other developments, a defense attorney for one of players says he knows who made the 911 call the night of the alleged gang rape.
"We're absolutely positive the caller was not the accuser, but the other young lady there," Cheshire said.
Cheshire said witnesses have talked to the woman and a comparison of audio tapes proves the caller was the second dancer at the party, but Durham police say they do not know who called.

The comparison matched. This has HUGE implications.
This means that the strippers had an operational cell phone to call 911 and report the Gang-rape, however, they drove 2.5 miles and asked a Supermarket Security guard to call 911 for them.
We know from the Police record (they responded in 2 minutes to an empty house) and the neighbor's statement that the call was made when the Dancer's were leaving the Party. So, in the call (After the alleged event and both were together in a small car) the dancers says I don't know if it's an emergency and says twice that she's not hurt in ANY way.
If the DA brings this case, he will lose. But, of course, he only wants to secure re-election.
It doesn't matter if there is reasonable doubt, the DA must prosecute, to not only secure his/her job, but to also feed the machine(trial lawyers, etc).
Compelling evidence. Thanks for posting this.
This update quotes Cheshire's assertion and adds "a claim now verified by WRAL."
I know you're new here, but you need to understand that we don't post threads with titles you make up.
BTW, what radio station?
I'll need the exact name.
I don't know my neighbor just told me .. he usually listens to 680 AM, and that makes sense because the GM there (Kevin Miller) has been on Rita Cosby, Greta, and Nancy Grace this week alone (for this case).
I was trying to keep it uncomplicated. But, my neighbor knows that I'm interested in this, and he called me.
The article says the same thing.. I went looking for something on it..
So I'm supposed to put in the exact Headline, even though it may not be indicative of the information I'm trying to pass on?
We don't change titles on article here.

This is the title

That doesn't convey the news that the second Dancer has been verified as the caller on the first 911 call according to Defense attorneys. I was trying to be accurate.
If you put your curser over some ones name it will show there sign up date. As you will notice Howlin and I have been here a long time and what she said is the rules, we all have to follow them and we all try to help keep up and inform newbies(you) to keep you from becoming ZOT bait:>)
Thanks for the help. Sorry, Didn't have any idea.
Hey, This is Big News!!
Oh and BTW, are you aware that it was a FReeper on this site that outed Dan Rather and his fake documents?
Oh.. Makes perfect sense.
----and by the way, thanks for posting this most interesting development.
You seem a little testy today. I agree with you and all, but did something happen?
