(2006-09-08) Top Senate Democrats, outraged over inaccuracies in the upcoming ABC mini-series The Path to 9/11, today said that in addition to yanking the networks broadcast license, if the show airs Democrats might also withhold from ABC News the daily distribution of Democrat talking points.
A spokesman for Disney-owned ABC News said that while the network could weather the revocation of its broadcast license, thanks to the proliferation of cable and satellite TV, the loss of the Democrat talking points would force the news division to hire dozens of new reporters to fill the void in its newscasts.
Meanwhile, Scholastic Inc. recalled a Path to 9/11 study guide which it had offered to 25,000 high school teachers nationwide, and replaced it with a more balanced, traditional teaching tool prepared by MoveOn.org with help from Oscar-winning filmmaker Michael Moore.
In related news, a spokesman for former President Bill Clinton demanded significant cuts to an upcoming DVD release of Snow White to eliminate factual errors and scenes of dwarf behavior clearly intended to smear the former presidents administration.

I look at it this way - if they cancel it then it will be proof positive that the Clinton administration (and Democrat Spin Machine by association) was/is/are responsible for 9/11 and that should be OUR main Talking Points from here on out. Even if they don't pull it we can now say "see, the reaction from the Clintonistas only proves what we have said all along is true - they are trying to suppress the truth" etc.
They have tried to weasel out of any responsibility what-so-ever for years, and now the chickens are coming home to roost...
They closed ranks and protected Clinton from prosecution for his crimes, just like OJ got away with it. So I have no problem playing hardball with the RATS because it's the only thing they understand, not unlike the terrorists they support coincidentally. .
The Clintonistas are so weak reputation and legacy-wise that they cannot withstand any scrutiny or criticism, and now everyone knows it.

Funny. Seems too real to be funny. Some Ds sounded very much like this yesterday: get the courts to shut down the broadcast.

Democrats might also withhold from ABC News the daily distribution of Democrat talking points.
Might be the best thing that could ever happened to ABC!

Should there be a Dan Rather clinic for networks forced to actually research and report on news? I figure the pain of going from sock puppet to reputable news source might be such a shock that some kind of transition period may be required, say, having to have Rush/Sean/Ann/MarkL do newscasts while the brown shirts recover.

Hilarious.
Withhold the daily DNC talking points from ABC? How will they know what to say on their broadcasts?? Oh, the humanity.
To: NutCrackerBoy
Now, if they'd just do that with CBS and NBC, things would be great.

Either that, or they could start reporting the truth.
