Remembering 911
On Monday is the fifth Anniversary that our country was savagely attacked the united hearts of our nation cried out in pain.. Here are a few pix that I chose out of the more than 500 I have on file. Jonny, your pictures are awesome
& I will be pinging my personal list when I get home. Perhaps you could share a little about the work you did and some of the comments you sent to me? and ping your friends.. anyone can visit at the singles thread (as long as they are nice!)
Lotsa formatting problems & NO TIME to fix.. so we have a little less than I had planned on & NOT as "pretty".

will be back after the football game...not sure if we will win, but VERY sure our band will be better!
My 911 experience was on the highway. I left at 9AM & when I turned on the radio & got Peter Jennings rather than Glenn Beck, well, I knew SOMETHING was up.
I was transfixed the entire way... fastest trip to NC I had ever made(seemingly)as I was immersed in the dialog, the fear, the sadness and the prospect of "what now"..
When I got to my son's house I ran to the TV, which GD was watching cartoon movies.. commandeered the TV & just sat in shock to see all the horrific scenes.
I guess my overall sadness was a bit tempered by the fact that we lost less than 3000 people. A VERY large number to be sure, but there were over 50,000 people in the WTC.. how much worse it could have been.
God bless those who died that day & the family & friends who remain.

Nice artwork. Very well done.
I was working in Boston, in the shadow of the Prudential Center. My crew was scared. There were fighter jets all over the skies. We left well before noon.
It was probably the most perfect day weatherwise I had ever seen. I went home and watched Fox & CNN on my deck with a bunch of neighbors and we drank a lot of beer.
