I have seen the ads yesterday and now today! One is two gay men and the other is two lesbian women. This is a car ad folks and it is nothing more than a car for for gays and lesbians! I'm totally disgusted and goin to tell Lexus I will not ever buy any of their products!

I understand your reaction, though. Both my husband and I initially thought "gay guys!" when we saw it.
You are dead wrong! Both the two men and two women come out onto their seperate driveways in the very beginning of the commercial. The point is that neither person knows whose spouse bought the Lexus as a Christmas present and they are hoping it's for them. A little less paranoia might be in order.
I just went and looked at the top gay cars for 2007 and 2006,,now I have to break the news to my husband that we have all top gay cars!!! Wait till he finds out. He is going to have to trade one in for something else!! I told him no self respecting gay man would hit on a man on medicare,,he was sort of piqued about that. So he said, "no lesbian would hit on you either"

I couldn't disagree more. I love the Lexus styling and the GS is far from "Sexless". Also, the LX is beautiful large SUV, IMO. They have the best combo of luxury, performance and dependability of any automobiles on the market today.

The original poster said she was boycotting Lexus. And then shared her boycott online either to provoke the gay haters on FR, to arouse the populace here to get outraged.
I don't know, perhaps they are targeting gays, what I am saying is who gives a damn what advertisors do. After all they pitch tacky toys, terrible food, constipation remedies.

~sigh~ I just realized that I have to give up watching football! And I love it! But, have you noticed what the QB is doing to the center? There is NO reason for that! The center could just turn around and hand the ball to the QB....like a man! But, no! It's very suggestive what they're doing! Like a subliminal message! This has been going on for YEARS!! I'm not sure I really care, but it is pretty weird to see such an openly gay commercial.
