I think we all still have a little kid in us, so for those memories of Christmas I thought it would be fun to post what your favorite toy was as a kid.

I used to play Pong all the time with my older brother. Winters in Wisconsin are long and cold so we played alot of Pong, Simon and other board games.

As I was a kid before the electronic age, my favorite toys were tinker toys, Lincoln logs, little army men and toy rifles and pistols.

Back when boys were allowed to be boys.

All my parents ever got me were clothespins.

Made a nifty rubber band gun out of them, though.

Got an toy Elephant gun one year,it was cool, fired little red bullets.

Probably goes for $100.00 in an antique store now.

Guess I'm lucky I didn't shoot my eye out;)

Had to be the Evil Knievel Cycle, can't tell you how many times I scraped my knuckles on the pavement with that toy.

What an absolutely NEAT thread. Thank you for the ping.

Well, she says, scratching her head. I DO NOT REMEMBER fav toys.. I am now & always have been an "outdoorsy person".. never really into dolls..

guess if I would have to list anything it would be "cards" as in card games. I was taught early & attribute my strong math skills to my dad's teaching me card games..(pinochle, canasta, poker).. later as I was an adult I played bridge.

As a child to a lesser degree board games(this is the pre electronic era donchaknow).. monopoly, chess, checkers, clue etc.

A very young kitten, eyes not yet opened. Techically, he was a pet, and not a toy, but if one was to define a toy as "something one plays with" then he'd qualify.

I bet you had a Big Wheel. I had this pink and white bike and I would ride it all day long. It was probably my all-time favorite toy as a kid.

A few favorites -- the game Mousetrap, Mr. Machine, Flintstones town of Bedrock playset (one is for sale on ebay for $200 starting bid - sigh. I have one piece left, a gas station sign).

Lincoln Logs

Erector Set

Chemistry Set

(Now, that one was a blast, literally! We could make explosives, and there is still, 50 years later, a stain (showing through the paint) on my mother's kitchen ceiling my youngest brother put there early one morning!)
