With one month to go before we chose a President, a lot of tricks can be pulled. However, this year, we may be facing a possible pre-election attack on Iran, or even a terrorist attack.

Any attack on Iran will happen after the election, especially of Obama wins. I would suspect a thwarted terrorist attack. That would give mccain the most benefit.

Was half-listening to Coast to Coast the night of the Palin/Biden debate and heard some woman psychic predicting there would be rioting in the streets of the USA within a month. Perhaps the final campaign attacks by McCain-Palin will have hit their mark and the Obama Campaign will be on fire and heading for a destiny with the ground.

No one will attack Iran....if Iran is attacked it will be after the election.
I do think there could be a terrorist attack in the US...if terrorist attack the US that'll put McCain in office. People would realize that that old warhorse can protect them much better than bambi...

I think the November surprise is McCain wins the electoral vote while Obama wins the popular vote.
My prediction is that the economic crash was the October surprise and that it will have the desired effect.

Scenario 1) The US asserts that Iran has been smuggling weapons grade nuclear material and is now capable of launching a nuclear attack on Israel. Israel pre-emptively strikes. Russia comes to the defense of Iran, threatening to intervene, using the Russian ships already positioned off the coast of Libya. Markets come to a standstill. Banks are closed for a “banking holiday”.
Scenario 2) AQ claims that there are other ships enroute to or already docked in a handful of European and US ports including NYC and Baltimore. Either they are detonated or there is a threat made by AQ that they will be detonated unless the US and NATO withdraw from both Iran and Iraq.
Scenario 3) The whole Somali pirate story has been made up.
Just when all will seem lost for McCain, the Clintons will unleash their real October surprise (pics of Obama snorting Coke in college)

I have no use for psychics but this fits my prediction posted elsewhere a couple times: an ugly racial incident of "hate crime" proportions trumped up by the Bamacrats, complete with black rioting in the streets, and blamed on the McCain campaign. McCain flips out and loses his footing, groveling and apologizing and lashing out at everyone on his own side.
