This is the best idea yet. Be sure and read the whole thing. I was checking cruise lines because I heard the rates are very cheap right now. I found a Somali cruise package that departs from Sawakin (in the Sudan) and docks at Bagamoya (in Tanzania ).
The cost is a bit high @ $800 per person double occupancy but I didnt find that offensive. What I found encouraging and enlightened is that the cruise is encouraging people to bring their High powered weapons along on the cruise. If you dont have your own weapons you can rent them right there on the boat. They claim to have a master gunsmith on board and will have reloading parties every afternoon as well as national marksmanship training. The cruise lasts from 4-8 days and nights and costs a maximum of $3200 per person double occupancy (4 days). All the boat does is sail up and down the coast of Somalia waiting to get hijacked by pirates. Here are some of the costs and claims associated with the package.

Kind of like a surfing safari?
If they supply the Ammo and a few .50 Cal’s ..sounds like a good time...I could use some target practice.
Good thing this is parody.
If it were real, I’d be out several hundred dollars this summer, and my wife would probably divorce me.
< wishing this was for real. Capitalism has the answer once again! >
Methinks I need more coffee.
Hubby and I cancelled plans for a cruise long ago. The plan is back on, now that we’ve found the right cruise for us.
Someone stole my idea! ARRRGH! I was going to suggest a cruise catered to NRA members!
LOL. Case of Beer for the first head shot!!!!!
I’ve been calling for a NRA Fun Cruise for a while.

A real bargain if they supply the ammo....it's hard to come by right now.
One of the all-time great RnR instrumentals . . and game shows . . and hosts

Yes, but a good one.
I must be crazy!....I think this would be a lot of fun!
ammo shells everywhere and these little pee-dinker boats running around.....like taking shots at the county fair shooting gallery!
They could have different catagories too:
Fastest sunk boat....
best head shot.....
Most pirates shot in the water....
best shot up outboard motors....
My favorite part is that it costs nothing to rent an AK-47....
Works out to 40 cents a round for the .50 cal.
If this were real, I'd go just to buy the ammo and bring it back. Best deal I've seen here recently is $3.65 a round, if you buy 100 rounds...
“it’s hard to come by right now.”
But I would have to work up some pet rounds pretty quick. Hopefully they have something on board where you can bench rest and sight in.
I think I would bring my old No. 4 Long Branch sniper rifle in .303 British (complete with original scope) . . . just for old times sake. I'd even bring my ammo as well as powder, primers and loose bullets. Just think of the romance factor of a British military rifle going after the Mad Mullahs after a hundred years.

[I have a juvenile attachment to exclamation symbols - !!!!!!]
That kind of thing would really solve the piracy problem.
My God the .50’s are expensive! My son has run through these by the pound and then some.
Sure be a lot of fun saying up periscope and fire one.
