Why don't he Joint Chiefs go to Obama and say "Sir, you must either present a valid full form birth certificate, step down, or we will remove you from office by force."
Isn't it their duty to do something like that? Isn't their accepting orders from Obama potentially carrying out illegal orders?
That’s a great question. I have a feeling that right now, everybody remotely concerned, like the Joint Chiefs, really wonder, possibly legitimately, if that isn’t someone else’s job, such as Congress, and/or the Supreme Court.
Because it’s not their job to do so.
It’s the job of CONGRESS and the Sec’s of State’s/Attorney General’s, to certify that the results of an election are Constitutional.
Because when they reach such heights, they become politicians, much like police chiefs across the nation.

If the population is too ignorant to recognize and act on the birth certificate problem BEFORE electing Obama, then arguably a court should: 1) declare the electorate mentally incompetent; 2) appoint Obama as conservator; 3) suspend the population’s right to vote and the right to manage its own finances. /sarc
Because in our country and under our form of government, the elected, civilian government has authority over the military, not the other way around. To do what you suggest would be asking for a court martial.

Even in Honduras the military didn’t just up and do it. First it went through their congress, then their scotus. When everyone agreed THEN they brought the military in to remove Zelaya.
In our current climate I think even if Obama did something like declare himself the first United States Emporer the house and senate would confirm him.
I’m Canadian so I don’t know all the ins and outs of how things are supposed to work (but I do try). That is why I am ASKING.
If he is not constitutionally permitted to be president then isn’t he also not the CNC, and if refuses to vacate the office, doesn’t that make him a domestic enemy, or traitor or something? What does military law say about fraudulently posing as an officer, would he be subject to that? Congress can’t just wave their hand override the constitution to keep Obama in office (well, not without violating their own oaths)
