"Is Captain Morgan really the best brand?" For spiced rums I prefer Sailor Jerry to Captain Morgan. Better tasting rum at a better price.

Another thumbs up for Appletons Dark....with some Ting added...think vanilla goodness!
My absolute favorite is Flor de Caña from Nicaragua...12 años and dee-lightful. Might be a bit hard to find, but your shop should be able to get it for you.
