Here is video of White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs today explaining that Obama's selection to receive the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize was not based on "the achievements of one person," but rather "represents the hopes of millions and millions throughout the world of the life and the world they want to live in."
Obama has been able to ride this hobby-horse of "Hope and Change" all the way to the White House and now to get the Nobel Peace Prize. It will be interesting to see if people ever decide to look beyond the rhetoric to see what his agenda actually produces. It is not producing a stronger America, but a weaker one. But then, that suits the rest of the world just fine. From their perspective, you might as well encourage him to keep it up. . . . (VIDEO)

Gibbs jibbers. If it's based on HOPE, then we should have won it because we HOPE for Obama to be gone!!

IMHO, those who stand around “hoping” all day are wussies. I prefer to go out and kick ass and let everyone else “hope” that their ass isn’t next. Old school.

was not based on "the achievements of one person," To that I say, "No Duh!" But that ONE person got the award, and accepted it. I'd almost feel sorry for Robert Gibbs if he wasn't such a jelly-spined equivocator.

"Hope?!" I call BS, but then again, given the desperate nature of the White House to actually stimulate something, they are considering a second "hope" stimulus. Hope and change indeed huh, Gibtard?

Well that makes sense in a perverse way, since the whole Obama deal is based on hope.

Neitzsche said that “”Hope” is the most Evil of all Evils, because it prolongs man’s torment.”
They believe that somehow they will magicly be saved, rather than working to save themselves.
