Almost all these are a staple in my diet. Turmeric and green tea being less prevalent.

Garlic I go through like water. I always have both fresh and confitted on hand for various applications.

I am, right now, cooking a big iron pot of chili con carne. It has a bunch of hand-chopped fresh garlic and a generous amount of capsicum powders, including Gebhardt's, RT original and Hatch mild, with fresh parched and ground cumin. I'd normally put some hot chilies in there, but this is for a church group and I don't want to set them on fire.

You should smell my house right now...mmm, mmm, mmm. The smell of friendly antioxidants and beef.

Ginger ... numerous studies have confirmed its effectiveness in easing nausea caused by chemotherapy, seasickness and morning sickness, as well as other stomach ailments, such as diarrhoea.

Interesting. When I was a child in the 60's I had problems with stomach cramps and nausea. Mom would often give me ginger-ale, but I didn't realize that there was more to it than the carbonation.

Garlic is a daily sometimes multi daily thing for us here. All of the others are weekly sometimes more than once a week. I use all kinds of spices. I throughly beleive it is part of the reson why I’m as healthy as I am since I’ve been an insulin dependant type 1 diabetic for 39+ years. Have all of my extremities and besides being severely near sighted(need glasses for anything further than 4’ away) I still see fairly well.
