A BIKER has appealed after losing his licence when speed cameras clocked him riding at an impossible 383 mph.
Motorbike mad Paolo Turina of Cernusco Lombardone, Italy - who also copped a £200 fine - claims the speed camera was clearly so defective the charge should never have been brought.
The 26-year-old said: "If I could go that fast I'd enter my bike in the MotoGP world championships. What did they think they were clocking - a jet fighter?"
Police claim the camera was working perfectly but bungling staff botched the charge paperwork, as reported in the Austrian Times.

I’d like to say that this ticket must have gone out without a cop reviewing it first, but sadly I highly doubt it.

Feh - that bike won't do more than 350 mph, tops.

The fastest production bikes will go 168-190 mph.
The world record for a motorcycle without the fairing is just over 212 mph. With the fancy aerodynamic fairings its around 360 mph.

That ticket probably was checked by a cop, likely the cousin of the one in Miami, FloriDUH, who wrote the following on an accident report:
“Found 37 feet of squid marks on pavement”.

I was in a ski proshop (back in the day), and Steve McKinney was handing out autographs. I asked him to autograph my skis, and he obliged.
"Steve McKinney 125.4 MPH" (his world record at the time). The "dooooode" factor on the chairlift was priceless.
