The chair is in the corner.
This one is headed to planet zot.
John has a long mustache.
There is fire at the travel agency.
The long sobs of autumn’s violins wound my heart with a monotonous languor.
Mad Magazine fan, eh?
OK.
I’m the resident town weirdo, then....:)
Actually, "If you're poor you're crazy, if you're rich you're eccentric" was one of my grandmother's favorite expressions.
Thoough I do like this...
You reallycrack me up Arrowhead! IB4TZ!!
Good, thanks. Will be the liaison for our company (providing our warehouse) and the nascent local Team Sarah organization meeting in a few weeks. They needed a central place to meet and I thought our place fit the bill.
Had to stand down from FR for a while after the election. I was afraid my reaming the status-quo GOP would have been misunderstood. Just frustrated. Still not sure where Sarah Palin will be ending up in the future, but I'll be helping the locals in our area, at the least providing a suitable meeting place.
Will be back hard when Israel finally decides to save Western civilization and punches a bunch of big, gaping holes in Iran's pipe dreams of Middle East hegemony. Half the world is too goofy to realize that Israel is doing them a favor. (Just finished Dore Gold's "The Rise of Nuclear Iran.")
Sooooooo, whatcha been doin' yerself?
*Many* years ago, MM ran a cartoon of the same guy wearing a tux, diving flippers and snorkel, wandering around town.
If he was rich, he was the town eccentric.
If he was poor, he was the town weirdo.
I’m fine with either.
I’ve been called worse things by better people.....;-D
ib4tz!!
I want on!
Thanks for your help with Team Sarah. I really hope we can get her, or someone else of her caliber, in the WH in 2012.
Re Israel: I’ve commented to others that this administration’s policy WRT Iran seems to be “Stick our heads in the sand and hope that Israel solves our problem for us.” My opinion of this kind of cowardice is unprintable.
As far as my life goes...pretty much SSDD. I’ve volunteered to work in my local hospital’s emergency room - paperwork’s gone through, but I still need to be trained. Beyond that, dog and cats are fine, life goes on.
Best pic in the thread!
The Institute would upchuck it.
Reminds me of the Far side cartoon “How nature says ‘stay away.” It had 3 or 4 animals (rattlesnake, blowfish, etc.) and a guy standing on a street corner with a bazooka, wearing an inner tube on his hips and a boot on his head.
She's the only one who has my attention at this point. Everyone else comes off as panderers and representative of everything still wrong with the GOP.

I just finished Gold's book. He lays out mountains of evidence against Iran, then suggests pretty much the same ideas that have failed for the last thirty years. It left an empty feeling in my gut.
I found his multiple use of the term "elites" (in ambassador-speak, meaning over-educated, pompous affluent people running a country) to be instructive, in referring to those in Iran who perhaps don't follow the Shiite "twelver" tradition. I assume he views himself an "elite" of Israel, as well as the rest in the Western world who fancy themselves our qualified leaders.
Their insular, multicultural, globalist worldview just cannot fathom the fundamentalism of Ahmadinejad and the clerical leadership of Iran.
I pondered today that we go about our lives hoping someone "in charge" knows what they are doing.
They don't know what they are doing.
"As far as my life goes...pretty much SSDD. Ive volunteered to work in my local hospitals emergency room - paperworks gone through, but I still need to be trained. Beyond that, dog and cats are fine, life goes on."
Slings, the thought that I might be hauled banged-up into an emergency room, to have you there to hold my hand, is very comforting.
"Haahaahaaa! AAAUUURGH!! It hurts when I laugh!"
