Check out this video of Jack Webb schooling Obama in what it means to be an American. It's a great way to get the day started on the right foot.

I didn’t make the jump, what is it from?
This?

Red Nightmare (1962)
A man who has taken his freedom for granted wakes up one morning to find out that the Communists have taken over America...
And remember this...
When people slur a work as an example of the “Red Scare”, recall that George Orwell wrote 1984 and Animal Farm about Stalinists in the WEST.
No, it was from the 1960 TV series called, “Dragnet”. It was about two FBI agents who busted criminals. The original was Jack Webb and Colonel Potter talking to a couple of hippie anarchists. Fairly ingenious wouldn’t you agree?
Bookmark for later reading.
Yes, I never saw Dragnet. I’m actually more familiar with old radio broadcasts of the show (which played in repeat syndication even in modern times) and didn’t have cable when it came back there.
They are on DVD now but I wouldn’t plan to sit down and watch the full series. I would rent some more interesting episodes from Netflix if I knew which discs they were on.
I’d also like to see more episodes of the old I Led 3 Lives program. There was even one on how the Soviets were running a “nuclear bombing is affecting our climate and growing season in America” campaign to get us to stall our own nuclear testing while they caught up.
Excellent! True!
Let us remember it is based on fact.
Jack Webb (Sgt. Friday) and Harry Morgan (Det. Gannon, he also played Col. Potter on MASH) on Dragnet were NOT FBI agents....they were detectives on the Los Angeles Police Department.
Yeah, I remember that each episode ended with “The stories you have just seen are true. The names were changed to protect the innocent.”
