The country's largest gay-rights group today demanded an apology from David Letterman, for making what it called "inappropriate and incendiary remarks" regarding President Obama's appointment of a transgender woman to the Commerce Department.

I watched the video even though I despise Letterhole, but I did not see any mocking of her/him/it. This group should not get their jockey shorts/panties in a bunch over this...
One of the first episodes of WKRP in Cincinnati had a running gag where Dr Johnny Fever tells Herb Tarlek that the beautiful Jennifer Marlowe “used to be a guy”. Tarlek is intrigued, disgusted, etc., then finally seems to say he thinks it’s a joke. “Get outta here!,” he laughs.
Then later in the episode Jennifer is typing at her desk and we Herb sneaking into the room to get a glimpse at her
and judge for himself...
All this whining from the homoprobes is started to get really old.

You cannot defy natural law anymore than you can defy the law of gravity or the laws of physics. Just because you make surgically cosmetic alterations to a man or woman which mock the sexual characteristics of the opposite sex, their chromosones remain unchanged and they remain their birth sex of either woman or man, and what “transgendered” people present to society are physically mutilated, seriously confused individuals in need of intensive therapy.
To enable these people in their delusional fantasy that they have become another sex is unconscionable. To promote individuals with such serious identity issues to a Cabinet position is a cause for alarm.

I think Letterman is bullet proof these days. Tiger did not follow suit.
In 2004, she was named by the YWCA as one of their “Women on the Move,” and in the same year, she won the Democratic nomination to the Arizona state House of Representatives. She lost in the general election.
Which upset a lot of the Raytheon women, since they didn't think he/she “qualified” for the Women on the Move award...
