He didn’t kill himself, but he apparently has taken his genes out of the gene pool...can he get an “honorary” Darwin Award? No honorary necessary. The "Chuckie" is given for the recipient removing himself from the gene pool. Suicide by misadventure is the most common route, but not essential.

This would be my guess as to how this incident happened:Yep and he was likely in the process of separating someone from their valuables when the gun went off and that's why he's not talking to the cops.

Occam’s razor would posit that Michael was a common birth defect.
According to March of Dimes, about 1 in 135 live births has some genital or urinary tract birth defect, though most are minor. There are also some childhood diseases that might accomplish the same thing.
