The sad fact is when I was a boy we could own, carry and hunt with out adults around and we frequently did. No one I know of shot any thing or anyone. One of my aquaintences, however, blew his big toe off after he reached adult hood. He was hunting quail and failed to engage the safety on his 12 gauge pump and caught the trigger on a bush. Stupid move but he was a grown man at the time.

According to March of Dimes, about 1 in 135 live births has some genital or urinary tract birth defect, though most are minor. There are also some childhood diseases that might accomplish the same thing.
Sorry, I disagree. Occam's razor doesn't take into account an iconic voice selling millions of records or a greedy and manipulative father.
Genital and urinary tract birth defects do not necessarily mean a lack of testicles. In fact I'm sure that would be extremely rare.
Perhaps you're unfamiliar with the practice of the making of the castrato's for their angelic singing voices...a practice that used to be very popular for boys choirs.
Go back a couple of centuries and Occam's razor would point unquestionably to Michael being a castrato...and in today's sex saturated society, I can see it being the reason he was so confused and unbalanced. It could also be the reason he turned so willingly to plastic surgery, if you've already been made into a freak by bodily mutilation...

Fascinating theory - but who would have done the operation? Wouldn’t the operation have to have been done illicitly and have been a huge ethical breach for whoever performed it? What kind of hospital or facility would permit this? Have you thought all those issues through? Also what about all those kids who testified about the “identifying marks” on MJ’s nether regions - would this info have come out in court?
I have no evidence, but it makes sense to me psychologically.
Something caused him to become very effeminate and resort to multiple plastic surgeries, not to mention his animosity towards his father. A traumatic mutilation against his will at a young age could have triggered all of it.
Were the court records sealed or did they ever become public? I don't know.
Heck, with his money and penchant for plastic surgery, he could have had some neuticles implanted (Testicular prosthetic implants for neutered pets.)
Okay, I think I've spend enough time contemplating Michael Jackson's testes, or lack thereof.
I think it does make sense psychologically, for all the reasons you have mentioned, and historically if you will, given the history of the castrati.
I just think it raises huge ethical and logistical issues not to mention the usual problem with these sorts of things which is how many people would have to be “in on the conspiracy” and not sold their story to the Enquirer who, of course, would pay dearly for it.
Also, you would need a pediatric surgeon or a urologist, your typical plastic surgeon probably isn’t going to “go there”.

Or maybe he was just being proactive. Now he doesn’t need to worry about his girlfriend carrying them around in her purse.

Based on the nature of his injury, and what I learned from the movie Full Metal Jacket, I am assuming they are referring to his "rifle" and not his "gun".
