PHILADELPHIA, - Authorities in Pennsylvania said 7,000 counterfeit Rolex watches were crushed by a multi-ton double-drum vibrating roller at a contractor's site.
The watches, seized from counterfeiter Binh Cam Tran, 53, were run over by the roller about 10 times Monday at James Morrisey Inc. in Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Daily News reported Monday.
Tran was convicted of trafficking in counterfeit goods, conspiracy and nine counts of money laundering. He was sentenced to six years in federal prison in 2009 and ordered to pay $2,273,166 in restitution to Rolex USA.

In Guangzhou China there is an area of many square blocks called the horological zone. Amongst every other concievable watch copy, I swear you could not spit without sliming seven thousand fake Rolex’s.

I never understood this. The people buying these watches would never be able to buy the real thing. SO they are not losing any market share! Yet they spend alot of time on thins nonsense while illegals are flooding the border.

I’ve been to NYC twice. Both times someone tried to sell me a Rolex off the street. No, I didn’t.

I’ve got a Rolex I bought on a beach in Honduras back in 2003 that I only paid $50 for........The guy originally wanted $200 for it but I talked him down. Ha! He didn’t realize who he was bargaining with until it was too late.......
