For the last few days, both my computers started having trouble loading Free Republic pages, sometimes taking several minutes. I've noticed more than usual multiple postings for the same Freepers which tells me they are having the same problems. Has this been a problem with other users or it it just my problem? Thanks

Flush the DNS.
Jiggle the handle.
Same problems here in central PA. Restarted computer several times and even flushed the DNS cache. It was a drag all last night.
Whenever this happens I always go to FR on facebook.....that usually confirms if others are having the same issue......

We had a major hardware crash over the week-end on one of our primary servers and have had a lot of trouble recovering. Almost all of our systems went down. Most are back up now, but we still have some ongoing problems.
What, $60K per quarter ain't enough?
This thing was crap untill about 2 hours ago. Loads like a champ now.

For several days I have only been able to get FR intermittently. It works fine when I can get it but it goes for most of a day with no FR, then I get an hour or two and it is fine then off again. I wondered at one point if the New Fairness Doctrine was kicking in.
