Check out this video of two guys attempting to break into a store by throwing bricks the window that is probably plexiglas. Besides having the brick bounce off and hit one of the guys, which in and of itself is funny, they stir up a hornets nest and get chased away without ever breaking in.

My little brother and I made that mistake one time, throwing a rock and a wasp nest. Running does not help, because they will follow you a long ways, and in a swarm just like you see in the cartoons. And they can fly faster than you can run, and farther. I ran faster than him, so he was the one who got the worst of the stinging. I remember my Mom removing his cloths and wasp flying out from inside them.

I had to do that to my son years ago when he was young. He got attacked by black hornets. He even has a dead one in his arm pit when he got home crying.
He was only about 8 years old and him and a friend were climbing a tree. Luckily they only got about 6 feet up when the attack happened. He is very Leary of bees to this day.

LOL, but I know it was not funny at the time. My cousin shot a red hornet nest about the size of a footbal while dove hunting. I started running and hid when he said he was going to shoot. He got stung a few times.

Bees or hornets could make for good affordable security.

Bees or hornets could make for good affordable security. I remember reading a novel several years ago where the good guy takes out the bad guy by locking him in a cellar and tossing in a white faced hornet nest.
yeah, I cringed
