An ancient meteor strike on Mars has revealed the first direct evidence of how warm liquid water may have shaped a habitable underground environment.
Images taken by NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter have revealed the first carbonate rocks found inside Leighton Crater at a level that was once buried 4 miles (6 km) below the red planet's surface.

Thx.
Actually, after reading and learning a little more about this stuff, I almost think it's a miracle that we are able to do what we do in space. It's all FAR above my 'pay grade'(as our dear leader would say). Makes me thankful that we have folks out there who are a helluva lot smarter than I am.
It's still hard for me to imagine how we can send a space probe from the surface of our planet on board a rocket into space, in a calculated way that is so precise that it can 'slingshot' around other planets, and reach a predetermined destination planet in the outer Solar System. All the better, they can send us pictures back too!
CS Lewis would probably approve. “Out of the Silent Planet,” anyone?
Two things I have read. One, Obama is targeting “conspiracy” sites. Two, the Odumbo admin. is putting pressure on ISP’s to censor “hate speech.” Hate speech being anything the Czars hate hearing in the public square.
Could be this web-bot kook was targeted? He could also be trying to stir up interest as I think he’s not selling his reports because they are dependently wrong. Clif High, mr. woo woo monkey mind, hates, hates, hates Christians, btw.
Yeah, Cliff seems to have an overabundance of things that I find more than a little seriously questionable . . . to put it politely.
Some are very extremely concerning to outrageously disturbing.
However, he is an interesting puzzle piece in this era’s END TIMES scene so I try to keep some at least cursory tabs on him.
Thx for the msg.
My pleasure.
:’) Thanks KoRn. The old-timers were chosen for their skills; the post-LBJ way is to choose based on utilizations of various demographic bands (a quota system).
How many times do I have to say this, there are trees on Mars, don’t believe me, google it ... ?
Which is probably why our pace of innovation and expansion has moderated, compared to what it used to be. Combine that with risk aversion, and you get bureaucratic stagnation.... Our ‘space agency’ evolves into just another ‘government agency’, and that’s just terrible.
We need to get leadership back in command that will go for the best and the brightest, without regard to the PC crap. While there should be safety precautions, it needs to be understood that lives WILL be lost in the process of space exploration.
Lion lunges at child with just plexi-glass protecting the little girl.
(Clueless parents, told kid to do a hula dance for lion.)
