The TEA Party Movement was really begun in Feb 2009 with the Rick Santelli rant on the floor of the Chicago Mencantile Exchange on CNBC.
Yet, Sharpton is saying the TEA Partiers caused the recession that started in early to mid 2008? He’s a clever guy to figure that out.

Tea party folks caused the recession? But according to the ‘rat’s greatest minds, it was caused by DeMint.
Sharpton is a nutjob but then again, pank partisanship and blaming the other guy for all that is wrong works with some voters. Its the same as Obama telling Latinos to “punish their enemies.”
I was listening to a black radio station the other day and a commerical came on saying “When the Tea Party says it wants to take the country back, who do you think they are talking about? Us!! Don’t let them do it. Make sure you have President Obama’s back on November 2.” Rank racial appeals work, and Sharpton is throwing as many as he can. When he talks about the “Tea Party”, way too many blacks hear “white people.”
