Facebook links buttons on FR

Just curious, why is ther facebook links on FR for Like?

I personnaly don't like Facebook and refuse to use it. I also sind FR having it annoying.

I don't know ho other FReepers feel about this but would like to now why FR chose to add it.

Use of the No Script add on to FF prevents this.

Took me second to unchuck the lock to even see if it was there.

Otherwise, get a Facebook account. I did, and locked the account down tight so basically nobody sees anything but my friends. I can’t even get a friend request. After that I “friended” my family and real-life friends, and then use it to help keep in touch with them.

I don’’t like it either. Block scripts from running on FR and facebook. Deny both of them from running any java script. Get the Firefox add on No Script. If you have a facebook account(I don’t and won’t) then clean your cookies out before you go to facebook. Also get the Firefox add on google sharing and keep it enabled. I don’t use Google but if you do, Google makes it hell to use their search with it enabled.

Oh yeah, I’m with you there. I was going to comment as to why I have to scroll past the anti romney stuff on every
thread I click on, sheesh. Sometimes trying to push something down people’s throat has the opposite effect.
