Yes, you read about the death of Jack LaLanne. Please watch this short and amazing video. Lalanne saw what was coming for America 50 years ago and predicted it. He could have given the same presentation today and no one would realize he originally made wrote the material five decades ago. Enjoy.
This was a mind-blowing 1:45. Jack LaLanne was a man of vision.
There was a lot of hatin’ on Mr. Lalane when he passed.
It didn’t make any sense to me at all...
I am 57, I have been a gym rat for 2 years and will never stop...I just wish I had started at 17.
That was great, SaxxonWoods. He was a very impressive guy. That 1:45 just underlines what character he had.
Jack L. got me started. I’m 61, and he was the first guy I saw with muscles. I work out at home and have off and on since I was about 16. Jack LaLanne and Fritz Von Eric (sp?) (the claw), ha! My first two superheroes.
Envy and jealousy. They are now the driving character traits of the vast majority of living humanity.
It's disgusting.
Hey I swiped that “visited states” thingie you have. That’s cool. Never knew the number visited until I filled it out.
The words of LaLanne from half a century ago amazed me.
“Envy & jealousy. They are now the driving character traits of the vast majority of humanity.”
I wanted to make that point. I thought of it an HOUR ago and in a very clever formulation too. It was MY idea and I am FURIOUS at your appropriation of it.
D—N YOU ANYWAY!
Evil is hateful and jealous of the good. Jack was a lover of God, family, country and the American Dream. Fitness was his avenue and message and just like his wife he was true to it until the end. Our loss is Heaven's gain.
>>Our loss is Heaven’s gain.<<
I suspect there are a LOT of angels buffin’ up!
And that actually brings up something: Lalane advocated good health, not pumped up bodies. But nonetheless, I am sure the angels are doing stair steps and the like.
Glad you liked it. I actually got it from one or another of our fellow freepers here. ;) You’re right about Mr. LaLanne. He was right about this country. Thank you for sharing that.
I get that a lot.
Stop hating on me.
;-)
“Stop hating on me.”
All right, all right. No hating.
Baiting, maybe. Berating possibly. But no hating....:-)
Hating LaLanne? Why? (I’m not paying much attention as you can surmise.) Geez, the world is in big trouble. Such hate must originate in self-hate.
