I have a problem where I can't view videos on YouTube- where earlier on the day it was working fine. Also, I updated my Adobe Flash Player about almost a month ago. Is it the site is doing some upgrade or it is just my computer?
This is the second complaint I’ve seen today. Someone was having a problem linking them earlier.
It is not playing!
After the last flash upgrade I found you have to turn off hardware aceleration in the player settings.
works for me. I’d say either your computer needs a close encounter with a hammer, or you live in a totalitarian dictatorship that has started censoring youtube for your own good.
I have the same problem. I do get the audio and sometimes YouTube works. I did some research and apparently there is a problem with the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. I would have thought the problem would have been fixed by now.
I could be your internet provider.
I see. Where do I go to do that?
I'm having exactly the same experience.
I have no sound but it runs. Only U Tube.
Move cursor over , where u-tube video displays. Right click mouse. It will display window with “setting” option. Click on setting. If “Hardware accelerator” is clicked, please unclick.
It will work.
None on my end. Just responding to my most approved comment of the video for the past year, calling actors like George Clooney a sissy lib d-bag compared to the action stars of the 80’s like Chuck Norris.
This afternoon I watched a tsunami video and tonight can’t get it to work. Also tried YouTube and it won’t work. I have a fairly new computer, so I wouldn’t expect that to happen. Thought I would try again tomorrow.
Adobe software is garbage, but very popular.
I agree
I try that but all I get is “Movie unloaded”
If you haven’t updated Flash for a month, you really should. Here’s a useful page designed for FireFox users, which will also work for IE.
https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
It will tell you what’s out of date in your browser.
My boss, when I do it at work.
according to the site, my flash is up-to-date
