Thank you! Putting aside the ideological problems that many of these guys have, winning an election REQUIRES a candidate who can carry his home state. That knocks out Romney and Pawlenty right there. They simply aren’t viable candidates unless they can carry their own state. Bachmann is also stretching the limits of viability for the same reason.

And don’t forget about Minnesota Health Care, he signed the bill into law, and Minnesota has been bankrupt ever since.

(But they have raised taxes in record proportions, which he also supported, so all will be better now........repeat as needed.)

“if big media perceives Pawlenty might win”

No worries, then...

No that is what every poll says. It would be one thing if it were just a single NBC poll, but all polls have her numbers in the toilet. There is no conspiracy here. SHe is talented enough to overcome her negatives over time, but if you can’t see that she needs a monumental transfermation in public opinion and perception, it is you that can’t think for yourself and you need to put down the Kool Aid.

“Sarah Palin had no “controversy” attached to her name prior to being named VP candidate. McCain was adored by the media. Once a threat to the Dem, the attacks happen.”

And, if you really pose a threat; then they really come after you.
Only Reagan and Palin have been a real target. That is because they both actually wanted to shrink government and not just talk about it.
Special, deep hatred is reserved for those who might actually change things.
Many on the left and the right love big government; it's just whose pet projects are funded.
Reagan and Palin are/were conservatives and say thanks but no thanks to the nanny state.

No that is what every poll says.

State-run media polls?

The only "poll" that matters is in November 2012.

Ref. your 2nd point, you’re right. Pawlenty is very quick to apologize/backtrack and he does it with style, skill and grace. That must’ve taken practice that I wish that he didn’t have. Did you see him backtrack quickly and elegantly after Palin issued her statement after the Gifford shooting? First he said that that was not rhetoric that he would’ve used, then she released her statement and then he did the Pawlenty 2-step when she got support.

I don’t want to do that dance and I don’t feel any obligation to dance with the one that brung me.

I have a feeling a tea party candidate-Bachmann,Cain maybe West will be VP of who ever the GOP decides to fund. If they fund Romney they are beyond idiots. People are being picky because of TheWon’s star status all are afraid but Obama has lost his magic. I am OPEN I am not A PawPaw fan but you may be correct.

No that is what every poll says. It would be one thing if it were just a single NBC poll, but all polls have her numbers in the toilet.

Just what do they ask in these polls, who do they ask, and most importantly, have the people asked been paying attention to world or current events, or simply got their infor on the last go around from the same people who ask/take these polls?

There is no conspiracy here.

Journalistas are a figment of the imagination?

SHe is talented enough to overcome her negatives over time,

Might take someone to actually hear her speak, and not Ms fey.

... but if you can’t see that she needs a monumental transfermation in public opinion and perception, it is you that can’t think for yourself and you need to put down the Kool Aid.

The country as a whole needs a monumental transformation, preceeded by a huge public (voter) transformation, or we have the same old same old. Those who believe the media's portrayal are the true drinkers of the kool aid.

Not at all, but when that support is expressed in the “concern troll” format that undermines the supported candidate’s opponents, it should be pointed out.

“Concern Troll” - In an argument (usually a political debate), a concern troll is someone who is backing a candidate, but pretends to be open to supporting a rival candidate, except for their ”concern” about certain named “flaws” of the rival candidate. The idea behind this is that your opponents will take your arguments more seriously if they think you’re an ally just expressing “concerns” about the supposed “flaws” of the opposing candidate.
Usage Example: In the 2012 election, an aide to, say, Governor Smith (R-MN) was caught concern trolling the opposition on forums. While pretending to be open to supporting Governor Smith’s opponent, Governor Jones, the aide argued that Governor Jones couldn’t win because she “wasn’t ready” and had certain “flaws” such as being “controversial” that would prevent her from winning the general election.

You must be a relative. Or drunk.

This guy is going nowhere. No one hears what he is saying, because they can not listen to him.

Sorry, to quote Bibi Netanyahu, “IT’S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!”
