“So it’s a boy, right?” a neighbour calls out as Kathy Witterick walks by, her four month old baby, Storm, strapped to her chest in a carrier.

Each week the woman asks the same question about the baby with the squishy cheeks and feathery blond hair.
Witterick smiles, opens her arms wide, comments on the sunny spring day, and keeps walking.
She’s used to it. The neighbours know Witterick and her husband, David Stocker, are raising a genderless baby. But they don’t pretend to understand it.

Poor kid is gonna have lots of fun in school. And HE’s gonna feel real good when he’s old to enough to wonder why his brothers get to be treated normally and he doesn’t.
These kinds of pigs are the type to complain about overpopulation. So why can’t they just use birth control?
The only “genderless” one is the father of this family cause he’s sure not a man.
Honestly if I were dictator I’d have to seriously considering taking all the kids away. Even letting a couple lesbians adopt them would probably be better.
This was a very depressing article, including the dreary part that described how the kids slept on a couple of mattresses on the floor, covered with heaps of clothing and
“mismatched blankets.” And look at the hair of the older kid shown in the picture: it obviously hasn’t been combed or probably washed for ages.
In other words, the kids are living in squalor. It takes me back to the 70s, when all the hippie kids fell asleep at school because they had been awake all night while mommy and daddy were smoking dope and having sex next to them on the common mattress. And they also had impetigo and were infested with lice.
As for the two children that this family has announced to be boys, they seem to wear dresses most of the time and are generally assumed to be girls. So I’d say they’re raising not one but three future serial killers.
There is no such thing as physical gender. It’s a grammatical category. People are sexed, not “gendered.” The whole notion of “gender” as opposed to sex is an invention of radicals, based on their argument that maleness and femaleness are social constructs and not biological realities.
Other people pay them to teach their children. Lunacy can be quite marketable ... look at Al Gore. Well, consider Al Gore philosophically, without actually looking at him, if you don’t want to lose your breakfast.
It used to be that neighbors wanted to know how to play matchmaker. [That’s why knowing the gender is traditionally so significant.] Now that’s virtually forbidden. Only skulls full of mush know what is right and wrong when it comes to choosing wed-LOCK. If someone older and wiser offers an opinion, the opposite is more likely to happen.
I had a friend who raised his little girl like she was a boy. She was knocked up at 15, the boy’s found out what she was really fast.
When boys discover their testicles and a girl is among them, the difference will come out rapidly.
I thought the word gender-creative was interesting. It suggests not “born that way” but “decided upon”.

You’re correct of course, and another reason why language matters.
Twentytwo years ago was in playgroup with my leftist friends. NPR announcer geeks, holistic health practioners, social workers, professors, leftist ministers and rabbis...that ilk.
We had all had one child and most were girls. Now we had our second child, mostly boys. It was amazing to watch all of these educated, leftists whisper among themselves about the fact that the kids actually came out of the womb DIFFERENT. All the gender study classes that focused on socialization became moot in that instant. In retrospect it was a watershed moment for many.

That’s what is called PARENTING, idiot.

How about this - what does the birth certificate say?

That’s called PLAYTIME.
It sounds to me as if these ‘parents’ are not doing their God gifted jobs as PARENTS.
They will grow to either hate or have contempt for their parents.

If gender is insignificant and stigmatic, one must
ignore ALL animal and plant gender too. Why burden ourselves with trivialities?
I remember reading a fictional story in grade school some 33 or so years ago that has a very similar situation to this real life news story. Things just keep getting weirder and weirder.
