It is clear that we are an utterly failed species. Left to our own devices, all we do is embrace the profane, the untrue, and outright evil.
In only a few decades, I have seen America START as a world leader in industry; a world policy maker; and a world instructor in how to be free and a functional representative republic. I have seen America FINISH as a second-rate financial has-beenl a country ridiculed on the international stage; and a nearly-complete Police State where SWAT kills with impunity and political 'crimes' abound.
Russia, too, attempted to throw off the chains of Communism, only to be immediately taken over by a crime syndicate. So, even when the failed policies of Communism are overthrown, all humanity seems to want to do is destroy itself anyways.
Communism appears to be on the march again, though it is very obvious by now to even the casual observer that it does not, has not, will never work.
Islam, a religion dominated by fanatics who willingly kill themselves to advance their cause of chaos and hate, is on the rise and is marked for ascendancy. This religion, dictated by a epileptic sun-mad pedophile, subjegates women, holds lying as acceptable, and insists death be the result of trying to leave Islam.
We are a failed species. The only possible solution is the complete extermination of the entire human race. We have utterly no chance of redemption, and we only spread evil. It is time to remove this cancerous growth known as 'mankind' from the universe.

The funny part is both those messages were side-by-side.
Giving up is for the week.
Giving up forever is for the month.
Giving up forever for everybody is for the year.
God’s Will be done. It is inevitable.
But what is God’s Will?
I join the chorus: Love you, man.
Communism, soft fascism and militant Islam are all on the rise. The American republic is collapsing. Hard times are coming.
So what? Human history has been a long chain of hard times. Misery without end. Brutality without purpose. Endless variations of the same sad song.
The ancient evils of tyranny, superstition and stupidity are still with us. What’s different about the upcoming failure is that we still have a blueprint for success. Personal responsibility, economic freedom, community service. Free men supporting a free Republic.
Humanity rose to a certain height, and is falling. Civilization is subsiding to barbarism.
So what? It’s fallen to barbarism before. Sometimes for years, sometimes for centuries. But this time? We have something to aim for, and maybe do it a little better next time. Rather than lose hope while grieving for our soon to be lost republic, it’s time to start thinking about where we go next.
It’s not the end of history, just the closing pages of our best chapter thus far. The next one will start roughly, but it doesn’t have to end badly. None of that is yet written, and the pen belongs to whoever has the will to take it.

Somebody said that though mankind is irredeemable, a man is redeemable. God comes to one person at a time. And even while the world is going to heck in a handbasket, there is a little 6-year-old granddaughter, a dying father, and a surgery-awaiting husband for you to love and serve each day that the Lord gives you. And each one of us has somebody.
Maybe that’s the “get small” part. No matter what is going on at the macro level, there’s always going to be that micro level where one person is loving one other person with the same love the Lord has given them, and that is the level where we can clearly see a reason to live. After faith and hope have both come to an end, there will still be love. And that’s what gets us by.
It actually reminds me of our wounded heroes. Some of them have sustained terrible injuries and yet have asked to go back into battle. Why? Because their brothers in battle are still out there, and they are determined to leave nobody behind.
We don’t live for us; we live for others. We’re the hands and feet that God uses most often to care for His people and give others the knowledge of how to become one of His people.
At several points in my life I have wanted to die. Right now I am seeing my country die a slow death - a fact which brings me low over and over again - and yet I very much want to live. I want to live because I can see terrible days ahead and I know my kids are going to need me.
I’m praying for you and your family as you face the difficulties ahead. He will be with you and will never give you more than you can bear.

I worked with a sysadmin[1] who posited the theory that humanity was put on this earth to foment[2] the extinction of all the other species; then it’s our turn.

I understand your pessimism. Yes, mankind can be cruel, uncaring and harsh. But I think I'll give the God that created that little feller of mine the benefit of the doubt that He knows what He is doing; and my little man a little more time.
I’m also glad you posted it. The feelings you expressed are what I deal with on a daily basis.
Tornadoes come when hot clashes with cold, and that pretty much describes the world we live in. Freedom clashes with tyranny. Hope clashes with despair. Life clashes with death.
I can’t help but think we’re in the hellish transition period where the contractions are getting constantly harder, longer, and with less recovery time between.
Transition means the birth is imminent. That is my prayer. Something has to give, and soon. If life, hope, and freedom win this current battle, then this world will continue. If not, then the end of this world will be coming and a new one will begin for us.
No matter what they do, the forces of evil cannot defeat us. They can send us Home early, or they can detain us in discomfort here for a while. They can’t change the ultimate outcome no matter how they rage.

—conforming THEM to the image of His Son Jesus The Christ—King of Kings and Lord of Lords—to rule with Christ over evidently countless multiverses, galaxies, worlds through endless ages.
Then, He’ll wipe all evidence of the evil doers off the planet and return the planet to a more Eden-like state.
