I was late to work watching the first launch of Columbia, just because there was a last-minute hold. I've never seen a live launch, oh well.

I live about 90 miles south of the Cape.
Seen many from home and have driven up for many others.Also my son and I flew my plane to 10,000 feet a couple years ago to watch one take off from above.
Nothing like it especially a night launch.
