Am I the only one that notices LAZY ignorant people?

Man oh man. What is happening to our society? Where are all of these people coming from all of the sudden? People parking in Handicapped spots that walk completely fine and then pull down the placard as they drive away. Ignorant people that cut in line at the deli, amusement park or shows. Parents on cell phone calls as their crazed kids run around uncontrollably. I ain't perfect, nor am I one of those people that said "when I was young..." Because I feel a lot of these teens have more "manners" than most adults and younger kids. WTH is going on? There is no shame and when you confront these people they completely act as if you were not there and ignore you! I find it amazing and it is getting worse at an alarming rate. Does anyone else notice this?

judgementalism:
ran into a gal (she was a straight A student not some slimeball) I went to school with at the grocery store and acknowledged her handicap placard, she said:

“No it’s moms I always use it when I shop, nobody else uses these spaces”

You bet I’m judgemental! And probably right over 50% of the time!

>>The placard has written on it not to drive with it hanging.<<

Looks like this was misdirected post but FWIIW my placard had no such language and the card with the placard said to keep it on he rear view mirror at all times.

Different states, different rules...

What drives me nuts is the amount of handicap parking spaces required by the ordinances.

If someone uses a scooter they don’t need one. It just saves them battery life. I consider them pretty much a scam and would like to see them eliminated. We somehow survived before them. We could again.

I used to marvel at the upper body strength of people in wheelchairs.

Now, I marvel at the girth of people in scooters.

And it is virtually certain that they are products of government education.

What frequently happens is that one member of a family legitimately merits a handicap tag, but other members take advantage of it, even when the handicapped person is not in the vehicle.

Absolutely that is what happens.

The other day, I noticed a car with two teenage drivers pull into a handicap spot, put a placard on the the rear view mirror and literally run into the store. I don’t think it was being judgmental to believe these two were abusing the system.

How about the people who use the electric wheel chairs at Wally world?

Disclaimer: I know there are people who do need them, but...
Give me a break. Stand at the front of the store and watch who uses them.

Heard a lawyer on FOX today talking about the unknown quality of juries.

He tried a case where the foreman of the jury sent a note asking "What dose (does) unamous (he meant unanimous) mean?

Ever noticed that almost every person (there might be a few exceptions) that uses those motorized carts in the grocery store or Walmart is grossly fat?

Are they fat because they have to use the motorized cart and therefore don’t burn enough calories? Or do they use the carts because they are fat?

I think it is the later.

there’s also a lot of people that have that placard for a disabled family member. i can understand having it, but they shouldn’t take advantage of it when they’re alone.

Using the disable parking spaces when the disabled person to whom the placard was issued is not present is a parking violation subject to a nasty fine.

Don't do it, folks.

and no offense to corpulent freepers

but many of America’s lazy uninformed are fat as hell

you see a young white woman...disheveled...toting several babies obviously of different baby daddies and she will invariably be fat..and unkempt and homely

it is a plague in middle TN

after having just traveled the West for 3 weeks it looks like the obesity is out there too but not as much white trash girl behavior in particular ways

but I don’t want to hear about trailers and old cars in the yard being strictly a southern or appalachin thing

saw bunch of that out there

Utah was cleanest with nice folks and happy looking families and breeding gals and dads who looked like dads

It’s the culture...I like it

Wasn't a heart attack, but I had a temporary medical problem that also prevented me from walking very far, too.

I always took the placard down as I got in & drove away; it was very distracting & obstructive...and technically illegal...to have it dangling from the mirror while driving.

Most debilitating handicaps, temporary or permanent, are not casually visible.

Don’t know about other states, but here in Kansas, when you get the handicapped permit, you also get an ID card for your wallet. If you park in a handicapped spot, any police or security officer can ask to see your handicapped ID card, to make sure you are the person the placard was issued for.

As I do have to make use of the handicapped spaces, I would just love to see a cop assigned to checking these ID cards!

I sometimes marvel at the obvious fact that these young ladies (term used loosely) have managed to get pregnant multiple times. They've likely done it the old fashioned way ...

Some guys, apparently, will do anything.
