In a video interview this week, White House Office of Science and Technology Director John P. Holdren told CNSNews.com that he would use the “free market economy” to implement the “massive campaign” he advocated along with Population Bomb author Paul Ehrlich to “de-develop the United States.”
In his role as President Barack Obama’s top science and technology adviser, Holdren deals with issues ranging from global warming to health care.
“A massive campaign must be launched to restore a high-quality environment in North America and to de-develop the United States,” Holdren wrote along with Paul and Anne H. Ehrlich in the “recommendations” concluding their 1973 book Human Ecology: Problems and Solutions.

If we didn’t know before, now it has become painfully obvious that Obama’s agenda has always been to destroy the American economy, and the American way of life. After all, this Czar wrote this in 1973!!!

Wouldn’t be surprised if Obama’s attacks on Producers drives many of them to effectively ‘go Gault’ (relocate themselves and possibly businesses to less antagonistic soil).
If he could get a truly “Free market” to De-develop I say
go for it.
All he would need to do is have a large majority of the population agree with him. It also cause a need to put a stop to all immigration. Only a developed country can take in large amounts of unskilled people. Most government social programs would need to stop. The less development you have the less income you have above what you need to live on. We could all live in fly over country. Work in the fields in the hot sun all day.
Maybe he hasn’t thought this though thoroughly. I though think many liberal would like it in flyover country.
30 million....yep folks that’s how many people they, the Democrats, want in the world. We have what, 300 million in this country. What do they want to do with the other 270 million people in this country? “Naw....that can’t be....they don’t really want to kill 270 million people in the US.” No, THEY don’t want to kill 270 million Americans...they want doctors and abortionists and federal law enforcement to do it. They also think that freezing people and starving them is a quite humane way of euthanizing our population. That’s why they don’t want an armed citizenry. Yes, they really are that stupid and cruel.
If you de-develop you will have less machinery and fertilizer, so you will need many more acres of land to produce the same amount of food. A lot of the less productive former farmland which has been allowed to return to the wild will have to be cleared and plowed (horse or oxen only) again.
There is a Grand Canyon in America’s Southwest, into which these elitists are free to march, and lead this “depopulation” by example.
If this isn't a huge issue for the Republican nominee to run on, I don't know what else is. It addresses everything from their job-killing bills, to stated re-distribution of income, to stated lowering our stand-of-living, to reducing our military power and on and on.

I’m sure most Americans would “love” to go back to living like their grandparents and great grandparents did 100 years ago. Few people had cars, electric appliances beyond light bulbs were minimal, people mowed their yards with push mowers and walked to work... just ideal for the eco-concious. However life expectancy was about 60, but that’s OK as there won’t be such a burden on the healthcare system and Social Security.
