Do Democrats Now Have An Astroturf, Anti-Tea Party Mob(Occupy Wall Street)?
10/4/2011 | Laissez-Faire Capitalist

From the onset, it appears that they do.

Obama and fellow Dems have little to nothing to run on. Bad economy, no jobs, and Obama did not keep his promises to the Democratic base about GITMO, the Patriot Act, wiretapping laws, a public option being a necessity within the health care reform bill (or else Obama would not sign it) and so on. Obama and fellow Dems did not make Card Check and amnesty for illegals (along with the rest of the aforementioned) their first priorties, even though Obama ran on these promises. And so they must get the base out some way to vote AGAINST Tea Party candidates and other conservative Republicans.

If elected Dems and their MSM shills cannot get the Democratic base base to vote FOR elected Dems, then they will try to get their base to show up to vote AGAINST Republican candidates on election day 2012. Viola...Occupy Wall Street.

First off, this anti-banker, anti-Wall Street fervor is three years after the fact, and three years after the bailouts. And, more importantly:

Democrats and their establishment MSM shills have recently pounded the false claim that in 2009, the Tea Party movement was begun by the Koch brothers, so as to protect bankers and Wall Street. The Tea Party movement has its genesis in the Ron Paul Revolution and that movement is about as anti-banker bailout as you can get. That is fact. Period.

Supposedly, out of nowhere, here comes the occupy Wall Street mob and their message is "change", down with the bankers and down with Wall Street.

Occupy Wall Streeters are unruly, they are mobbish, and they started the lie that they were lured across the bridge despite the video proof that the NYPD warned them ahead of time about what would happen if they blocked traffic on the bridge. There have now been over 750 arrests.

We may have to wait and see what this astroturf movement morphs into, if indeed it does morph into something. But it appears to be an movement started by establishment DEMS to protect those whom the Democratic base likes to call DINO'S (Democrats In Name Only), as the Democratic base isn't too pleased with them right now.

I may be wrong about some things. We may just have to wait and see where this goes...

Connect the dots back to ACORN, The Chicago AstroTurf Factory run by Gibbs/Axelrod, and trained community organizers that sat at the feet of The Won to learn their trade. If investigative reporters were not on the endangered species list, we would have heard the details.

I read in the WSJ last week that this was originally cooked up by some marketing joint in Canada, I belive. Maybe “AdSense” or something like that.

Their goal was simply proving out the power of twitter / viral campaigns, etc.

Hence no real goal when people showed up.

Now, I think these clowns are just goin’ with the flow and enjoying themselves.

This is what passes for political discourse these days. :(

It’s how communism works: power to the mob.

Funny that their candidate Barack Obama is owned by Goldman Sachs. Also, a Democrat House and Senate passed TARP, Barack Obama supported it.

Instead of letting the mob build up and sleep in the streets, the authorities could make efforts to clear people out if they really wanted to.

At first--then the mob is brought to heel once the existing system has been wrecked.

I’ve been to their website and done some digging after hearing about the Occupy Wall Street movement on GBTV a few weeks ago. Actually Glenn has been talking about this for a few years..saying it’s coming, it’s coming. Hello?

It’s here. Now what?

Most of those kids don’t even know why they are there...so it must have the “cool” factor or something. I say we just make fun of them and make Anarchy look very stupid.

After all - they DON’T HAVE A PLAN other than to sit there and bitch about everything.

I have watched some hard-core progressive news shows on progressive cable channels (not MSNBC or CNN). Some of them are saying that this is supposed to be the continuation of the Arab Spring. Some sort of “American Spring.” We will have to wait and see...

It’s no wonder that The Obama family doesn’t join the marchers here. They could join the rabble and march to the Stock Exchange and then give a rousing teleprompter speech. Then all would be saved and the world saved from the phantom evil money lenders etc.?

Adbusters, and yup, it was long ago cooked up and planned.

Sadly, people are generally angry and there will probably be some sympathy for these vermin at first. Won't take long though before people figure out it's the same old college meatheads and renta-mobs who always turn out for these things.

Why don’t we just vote out all the dunces who voted for the bailouts of banks and wall street? Wouldn’t that be nice?

Yep - the Wall St protests are nothing more than staged political events intended to give the impression of an alternative reality.

The script reads - it really isn't Obama and the Democrats' communist/collective policies screwing the economy and the American people over; its capitalism's fault.
