I don’t think welfare and rights go together.

There’s enough of her to feed all the poor in Minneapolis! Had she consumed less, the rest would have enough.

Wow, you were being kind when you said “fat”. If she claims she does not have enough money to feed her kids, it is not the fault of the government.

Can anyone total up, line-by-line, the “assistance” that a typical dependent of the state with two children and a non-working baby daddy are “entitled” to? Welfare Medicade Section 8 housing WIC Food stamps Chilren care Energy assistance How much and what else?

Tack onto that all the private free stuff that they can get - some have it down to a science.

I remember last year they showed the school supply drive on our local TV news. Basically everybody who wanted to donate brought new school supplies (including backpacks and clothing) to the park in the morning where volunteers organized everything for the afternoon giveaway to the "needy". When they showed the afternoon giveaway portion it was like a land rush...a bunch of fat _ssed welfare mommas and their broods. They weren't going through the items and carefully picking out what they needed from a school list - they were toting away everything they could carry (one "lady" was balancing a stack of ten or so back packs still in the plastic). It was a fiasco.

I’m sure the City and State can find better use of the monies the Vikings are asking for to build a new stadium. Who wants to waste money to a team that can’t win a Super Bowl. GEAUX SAINTS!!

I would add fingerprinting. This would provide absolute identification.

"Name the Father", failure to name the father will result in denial of any assistance.

Ewww, but you know what? A safe bet is,only one in ten can name the father.Just thought of that....

Yes but... what is the cumulative value to a baby momma in pick a state, say floriduh, illinois, new york or soewhere.

Cato institute says about $25,000 a year equivalent job but for what a family or a baby momma with two kids, three, none? Let’s see if we can accurately quantify it. I’ve had hands tell me they could not afford to take a farm or ranch job for $15 per hour in one of the states Cato says is not very high on the welfare chain.

As for school, if you are receiving a benefit greater than the tax you pay then you are a welfare recipient... that counts.

Sounds like you could argue that the people who earn $25k a year working are getting at least:

$0 They pay NO tax whatsoever so whatever public benefits they get that aren’t paid for by sales taxes are SUBSIDIZED by taxpayers.

$5036 EITC
$9.8K x 2 = 19.6K edumacashun

$24,636 per year in direct or imputed income from the public as a MINIMUM.

“free” medical care, they can get what I would have to pay for. My insurance is at least $12,000 per year so now we have a total of $36,636 from the public in direct or imputed benefits.

I don’t think I would leave a football unattended around her or her kids ... they might eat it.

In at least one state they get a free car, free AAA, free service and repairs, free insurance and free gasoline. After a year or two if they haven’t found a job they get to keep the car.

There are scores of stories you can be indignant about.

The one that took the cake for me was during Kartina when they asked for volunteers to come to the shelters to host the refugees. What this meant was to wait on, cook for, feed, and clean up after these vermin who were largely abusive, demanding, filthy and lazy. There were exceptions of people who tried to do for themselves but not many.

The worst thing about the Katrina refugees is that they came to Texas and stayed.

If she weighed 200 pounds less, she might have an opinion I would consider. If, on the other hand, you weigh 300 pounds and you want to remain forever on the dole, forever eat better than I do, and demand more: sorry. You, pig lady in your mumu and your floppy jowels, can go to hell.
