Weight of water from global warming is causing and will cause large earthquakes!!
Vanity post

Posted on 12/26/2011 9:15:48 PM PST by Wicket

A friend of mine watches the History Channel, because that's true information. Apparently she's seen a program twice about how global warming is causing the ice to melt and the additional weight of the water is increasing the likelihood of earthquakes.

Danger, Will Robinson, danger!!!

” - - - she’s seen a program twice about how global warming is causing the ice to melt and the additional weight of the water is increasing the likelihood of earthquakes.”

If you know the name of the episode, please post it on your thread. Junk scientists should be held accountable for unfounded rumors such as this one.

BTW, I’ll check back in a week or so, as it will take me that long to stop laughing. ROTFLMAO!

Direct her to the book by John Casey, “COLD SUN”.

She will calm down a lot if she will read it and also go stock up on blankets and firewood.

Right up there from another thread, spraying vinegar into the sky eliminates chem-trails. It boggles the mind.

I read about 3 Gourges Dam causing earthquakes in China.

I bet all those earthquakes out west are caused by the construction of Hoover Dam and Lake Meade. Lake Meade being the 16th largest man-made lake in the world and the largest man- made lake in the Western Hemisphere.

But I wonder what caused the earthquakes before Hoover Dam was built. Hoover Dam was finished in 1936.

The Great San Francisco Earthquake was in 1906.

Aw, man. I used a little driveway melt this morning and mud huts were dropping all over central Africa. I sure hope they don’t sue me.

“The History Channel is losing credibility more every day.”

Since installing my new satellite dish, I have been watching
a lot of History, and Natl. Geo programs, but I never remember which one had what.

I do, however, notice that they inject AGW into most every
geological program, even if there is no logic behind it, such as earthquakes and tsunamis.

They have had some interesting programs on cataclysmic events in ancient history, all earthquake or volcanic in origin, but tend to morph AGW into the cause for similar events that could happen now.

I frequently want to hurl a brick at my TV when they pull this crap.

I've noticed that Brad Meltzer's Decoded is very pro-Global Warming propaganda.

Well, I guess you're right, it is silly to anchor wind-powered icemakers off Alabama. Appealing as it is, it's just not energy efficient.

Alaska, that's it. "I can see icemakers from my house," yep. Perfect! Those poor wolves will be safe from helicopters in the shelter of windmills and they'll be buried in ice as nature has always intended.

Balance restored, sea levels begin to fall and the world is safe for progressivity.

Exactly correct.

To wit, ask 1,000 high school or college graduates which of the following is heaviest (or lightest):

a.) 1 lb. of feathers
b.) 1 lb. of bricks
c.) 1 lb. of gold
d.) 1 lb. of dog sh!t
e.) None. They are all equal in weight.

I guarantee you that more than 50% of the fools that believe in the phenomena of man-made “global warming” / “climate change” (or registered Democrats) would fail to pick “e”.

There you are America! The public schools and universities of the USA have successfully created millions of idiots. (And these are the idiots that vote “D”, which is why Obama, the DOJ and DNC are working so hard to void voter ID laws.

Only idiots, imbeciles, ignoramuses, jackasses and fools vote for Democrats.

I guess she believes those “ghost chaser” paranormal programs on the History channel as well?

There is no hope for global warming believers, they will swallow any lie!

It’s chicken little all over again! LITERALLY THE SKY IS FALLING!

Danny Glover said the last earthquake in Haiti was caused by global warming so it must be true.
