AMEN to that! Not to mention the guy that started it, what's his name, is a big Obamabot.
In hindsight, I don’t agree with this father’s actions. He basically had a youtube outburst instead of a facebook one. Discipline should be kept in house. I don’t think public humiliation works. It’s sad how people do things on facebook, and now youtube, they probably disagree with after the fact.
Shooting the laptop is fine, but I don’t think going on youtube is the right thing to do, particularly after being furious over your daughter’s idiotic facebook outburst.
Best part...he wants the daughter to reimburse him for the expensive ammo...it’s a buck apiece!

This could come back to haunt him. The girl may go to the police and say her dad is acting violently and shooting a gun and feeling threatened and unsafe.

I raised 5 and none would have dared to do anything like that. They got jobs bought their own cars and after our insurance got dropped due to 2 fender benders, by the time the 3rd was ready for a car, he also had to have his own insurance....they worked their butts off to get what they wanted and at one time my daughter at the age of 16 had 2 jobs.
this guys daughter sounds like a spoiled brat. Let her be embarrassed in public....dad said he was going to post in on her facebook account, just as she posted her little rant on facebook...
I wouldn't have used a gun is the only difference with me...I didn't have a gun, but a sledge hammer would have worked well for me.....
All my son's know how to cook, cause I didn't want them to have to get married or starve to death....by 16-17 they all knew how to use the washing machine and dryer...
As adults they say they learned how to cook cause I wasn't too good at it....as little kids I didn't kick them out of the kitchen when I was cooking or baking, they got to help if they wanted. Too many mom's don't have the patience with little ones to show them how to fix things....I once got breakfast in bed, a piece of buttered toast and a pepsi. The oldest was probably about 8, then there was the 7 year old, 5 year old 2year old and a baby....

You seem to have the same logic impairment he does. She doesn’t owe him for a laptop HE destroyed. Nor does she owe him for the software on it...or the bullets for that matter. He basically did EXACTLY the same thing she did. He had a temper tantrum on the internet.
And you think you just made a valid point? Good Lord. Life must suck with your critical thinking skills.

I have new found faith in parental skills. This father was brilliant! I posted it on my facebook page as well. I love when parents get creative!
