The team travels to Kentucky to investigate a piece of footage that seems to show the glowing eyes of a bigfoot. With locals reporting activity in Daniel Boone National Forest, the team tries a new search technique to see there really are bigfoots in KY.
Now I don’t care who you are, that there is funny!
My grandfather (1899-1975) was a rancher in central-west Texas. There was a lot of Bigfoot talk in the mid-60’s. One day I asked him if he had ever heard of such a thing. In his usual matter-of-fact way he said (paraphrasing): “I haven’t seen anything like that in about 30 years. We called them Skunk Apes. They were hard to see, you would just barely catch sight of them running down a gulley or over a rise. But you could smell them for a long way, and the stink was something awful.”
That was the end of the conversation and I never asked about it again.
When will the religious bashers ever stop? I think most of them are moose-limbs and the rest are lunch.
I think Matt Moneymaker could find evidence of Bigfoot in Times Square. I’ve talked to him once. He was trying to talk me into joining a Washington expedition, for the cost of $600, and so they could use my 12X20 tent. Said something about how he could almost guarantee an encounter if we struck out with his BFRO team. That’s where I told him in so much words to get lost. Guarantee an encounter? If it was that easy Bigfoot would have been found long ago. I have been hunting in Western Washington for most of my 50 years, and I could not guarantee you an encounter with a black tail deer, much less a Bigfoot. And how many more deer are there than Bigfeet?
The show is pretty much a joke among those who post on Bigfoot Forums. They are aware of Moneymaker’s shinanigans and over boated ego. And they are aware that you can spends days and days in the hottest BF spots in WA or OR, and come away with nothing. Yet bring an Animal Planet camera crew with you and bam, you have encounters the very first night.
I’m very offended by this thread. I am a bigfoot born and raised in Kentucky before I decided to leave the family tree and try to make it big in Hollywood. (You like Star Wars, right? Can we say CHEWBACCA!?) You guys are really racist towards my people, calling us stinky, calling us Nephilym, suggesting that we don’t even exist. Listen, just how many of you have ever starred in a movie or been married to America’s first black President?
Our accomplishments as a race should not be underestimated. We deserve respect.

Moreover, check out the BFRO shirts on increasing numbers of the Homers at the “town halls”.
They pull in to any town, USA or Canada, go out that night, and get bigfoot responses. This is a hot spot of bigfoot activity. But... we gotta be moving on to the next location.
I saw a show on leopards in Mumbai. The guy wanted to know if they lived in a big park in town. He took five over the counter, common as dirt game cameras and set them up. The next morning he had good film of a leopard. These bigfoot nuts could invest $10,000 in cheap game cameras and have one on every tree, and leave them for months. Nope, yell a few times, get in the car and leave.
They need to organize a big foot stakeout on the Whitehouse kitchen.

I don't believe bigfeet exist either but after moving out to Oregon and seeing how incredibly dense the forests can be, it seems a lot more plausible that a large creature can hide in the woods and not be seen too often by humans.
They also searched in New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island and Virginia in addition in Alaska, Washington and California.

What!? They haven’t bothered to search in the Big Thicket in Southeast Texas?
Probably afraid to go in there. Panthers, bears, feral hogs, poisonous snakes, etc. One of my gr-grands and his brothers and friends would go there on two week trips and take back plenty of meat to feed their families for many weeks.
Strange isn’t it, that no skeletons or skulls of Big Foot have been found...

It wasn't that long ago that the Chinese told stories of strange mountain men. Turned out to be the Panda Bear (1896). Others include the mountain gorilla (1902).

Think of all the sea monster stories told by sailors back in the 1700s... those were likely giant squid.

The show is just an endless tease, and as such grows tiresome quickly.
That was on that list. But I did happen to see a news show where the marine biologists were using the old submarine sonar listening system to monitor and track whales. They would play a tape and the guy would say something like:
That’s a gray whale off the coast of California....
That’s a Beluga Whale in the Bering Straight...
Did several more, and then the last tape - the sound was in between an organic, animal sound and a high frequency electrical, synthesized sound - almost like something from a sci-fy movie (although some of the whale sounds were almost as weird).
The guy said “That is in the Indian Ocean, at a depth of over xxxxx feet (it was REALLY deep),......
...
and we have no idea what it is.”
They played the sound again and a chill ran up my spine.
